" Hey Gary , could you do me a favor and check on the patient in room 206. She's post op , just make sure her vitals are stable and she's had her antibiotics. " " No problem Nurse Fisher" I just wanted to finish my rounds before I went to grab lunch with Taz, she was in the neighborhood so she called me and asked me if I wanted to go to lunch. I didn't mind because I wanted to get out he building , the day had been a little crazy all morning. My phone started ringing and I knew it was her so I told Melinda I was out for lunch and to page me if anything. " Hey Taz , you here ? " " Yea I'm down stairs in front " " Okay I'm coming " " I grabbed my purse from my office and headed down stairs. " Hey beautiful " " Hey " I leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. " Surprised , you could actually get out of there. " " I know right , today has actually been hectic you saved me " we laughing and pulled off. Me and Taz have been messing around on and off for a bout a few months now. We have an understanding, it's just sex nothing more. Now I'm not gay or anything like that it's just Taz is one hell of a looker and she just has this charm about her that's sure enough to get your panties off of you. We pulled up to the restaurant and got out. We were seated at the table and the waitress came over and took our orders. " So what you getting into this weekend ? Do you have to work ? " she asked " Yea I actually do , but it's a short shift so I should be off at a decent time. Isn't your party this weekend ? " " It actually is , are you gonna bring the girls out ? " " Of course I am , you no ain't no party if me and my girls aren't there " we laughed. The waitress had just brought us our food and I excused myself to go to the restroom. As I was exiting I could have sworn I saw Tee sitting at one of the booths so I walked that direction. " Hey " she looked up " Oh hey ... ? " she couldn't remember my name " Selena " I extended my hand out , she was sitting with a pretty Spanish looking girl so I took it upon myself to introduce myself to her as well. " Hey Selena, how's it going ? You here with Robin ? " " No my friend Taz , you remember her right " she looked over her shoulder then looked back at me " Yea , tell her I said hey. This is my friend Rebecca " I shook the girls hand " Well you two get back to your meal , nice seeing you Tee " I walked off , I sure was gonna tell Bobbie I saw her. I got back to the table with Taz and she was texting in her phone. " I just saw Bobbies friend Tee " she lifted her head up " Where ? With who ? " I screwed my face up " Some Spanish chick " " Oh " she sucked her teeth and went back to texting " Anyways , what time is the party ? And is it still at the same place ? " she placed her phone down on the table " It's at 10 , yea it's at the Mansion on Clover St , the one off of exit 5 " every party Taz through was a party to be at , she always went all out and everyone always came out for her. I'm talking about ladies , fellas , everybody and their mother so I was definitely going to this one. " Cool cool , now I gotta go to the mall and find an outfit , Ima drag Bobbie along with me cause she needs to find something to wear too " " That's cool , bring everybody out I look forward too it " I checked my watch and it was time for me to head back to the hospital , lunch was over. We grabbed our things and headed back to the car. Taz dropped me off , we said our goodbyes and I went to finish the rest of my shift. " Nurse Robins we have a patient in room 306 that's requested you " Jackie called out to me " Okay , Thanks Jackie could you inform the patient that I'll be on my way up. " " No problem " I grabbed the charts from the desk and headed to the elevator. Usually most of the time I have specific patients who only want me as their nurse , but depending on who's service I'm on I always manage to get to see all of them. When I got to the room I figured it was one of my regulars. When I opened the door to my surprise id never seen this man before. " Hello , I'm nurse Fisher I was told that you requested me ? " I extended my hand out to shake his. He was darkskin and Muscular, I could tell her was tall even though he was sitting down. He had a light caesar and whatever cologne he was wearing was intoxicating. " Hello nurse Fisher, My name is Jarred my friend recommended that I ask for you whenever I came here , he said you were the best , especially at handling patients post op. " his voice was smooth , he could sure talk a girl out of her panties with that voice. But let me focus because he's a patient. " Well isn't that nice , and your friend is ? " " His name is Jacob Coney " I thought back to see if I could remember who that was , and then it came to me , Jacob had came in her one time I was working the late shift , he had been admitted for chest pains , I took care of Jacob every visit and we actually became good friends after. He was a lawyer and he worked for Allen and Co. " Next time you see Jacob tell him I said Hello , it's been a while since I seen him , which is actually a good thing. " I smiled " So what brings you in here Mr. ... ? " I paused cause I didn't catch his last name the first time " Jones , Jarred Jones , but just Jarred is fine " " Okay Jarred , let's take a look at your chart " I pick up his chart from the table and looked over it , he was in for a torn ACL , I didn't even notice his leg wrapped up because I was so busy staring at his face. " So your surgery went well , you will probably be in here for about a week in a half because the doctor want to monitor you , looks like you had a reaction to one of he medications you were suppose to be on and they will be substituting it for something else. I'm gonna check to see if the doctor put in your prescription and I should be right back. " " Thank you , I appreciate it . " " No problem , it's my pleasure " I smiled at him placed the chart back down and proceeded out the door. On my way my phone was vibrating so I reached in my pocket to check it. It was Bobbie asking me what time did I get off " Hey girl, I get off at 10 " " okay cool , come over tonight , I'm off tomorrow I'm a little sick so I got a substitute covering me tomorrow " " okay cool , I'll text you when I'm leaving " I placed my phone back in my pocket and went to finish my work.
