I couldn't have been more scared in my whole life , I didn't know if I could pull through this time. I knew when I first got sick exactly what it was I just wasn't ready for it. Let's face the fact I have cancer and even though I beat it the first time I wasn't a hundred percent sure I was gonna make it this time. I tried reaching out to Bobbie when I first got sick cause I wanted her to know that if it was what I thought it was I needed her by my side.
" Hey Sin are you okay ? " Bridget asked helping me inside , things had been getting worse and I had refused to go to the hospital " Yeah I'm fine " " Sin I think you need to call Selena " Bridget knew that I was sick , I had informed her once we became closer " I don't think it's that serious " I said struggling to breath , we were on our way to the movies when I became light headed and almost passed out so Bridget suggested that it was best we head back to the house. " hey at least let's go to the hospital " " No ... no I'm fine Bridge. " Bridget decided to stay over to keep a close eye on me and towards the middle of the night I woke up throwing up blood and there was no debating about going to the hospital. I was in there for a week before I asked to be transferred back to the city I needed to be home where my doctor was where everyone who knew my history with this cancer was. My health started to decrease rapidly once I reached New York , the night before I got settled in I asked Lee to call Robin as soon as possible because if anything happened to me she wouldn't be able to live with it not being here. I couldn't have been more happy when I opened my eyes and she was entering the room. " Good morning beautiful " I managed with my raspy voice " Good morning , how are you feeling ? " " horrible " I didn't want Robin to worry , she was what I was fighting for if I didn't have anything else to fight for " do you want anything ? " " Just water " as she got up to go get the water the doctor was entering the room " Ms. Cooper , hello " " Dr. Ralph " " Hello I'm Madison's Dr , Dr. Jacob Ralph " he stated greeting Robin and shaking her hand " So have me mad a decision ? " he asked me looking over my chart " Yes , I'm wanna go through with the surgery " I said looking over at Robin " Are you sure ? " she asked " Yes I'm sure , do whatever you have to do Doc and remove as many as you can we will take it from there. " I had to fight this fight , even if it was for the last time I had too " Okay so I'm gonna schedule the surgery for tonight and nurse Fisher will be in here to prep you and the other nurse to run some final test " " That's fine " " Okay , hey look we got this " Dr. Ralph said " We got this " I responded , that's something me and Dr. Ralph always said before surgery and chemo he always called me champ and told me i better throw on my gloves to get in the ring with him. " Hey don't worry everything is gonna be okay " I reassured Robin , I knew she was scared I didn't want her to be worried. " you sure ? " she looked at me with sad eyes " I'm positive "
It's was 7:30 and it was almost time for surgery, " Hey champ you got this " Lee said " Don't be nervous we in and we out " " We're in and out " I said " come here " I motioned for Robin to come close , ever since all the nurses been in and out the room all she's been doing is crying " Stop it , we got this baby no more crying I'll be right back to my old self " " I'm sorry , iii.... I just .... " she could barely finish her sentence before she started crying again " Okay come on come on puppy eyes " Lee said wrapping her arm around Bobbie " Give me a kiss " Bobbie leaned over and kissed me on my cheek " I pinky promise " I whispered in her ear " Pinky promise " she whispered back to me. " Ready ? " one of the nurses asked " Ready " I said as she began to roll me towards the elevator, I looked over at Robin and watched as she sunk into Lee's arms crying , she tried so hard to hold the tears back but she just couldn't. To be honest I was scared , I just prayed to god I made it through this I needed too.
