I don't know if Tee is gonna be able to come back from this , I layed there stroking my best friends head with tears in my eyes. I swear to god whoever did this to her is going to pay. I hate the fact that she was even going through this , she didn't deserve this " Hey sleepy head " She was just waking up " How'd you sleep ? " " Better , hey thanks for coming back " " Listen , no doubt about that " " Shouldn't you be getting ready for the party " she asked me , " I'm not even going " she screwed her face up at me and sat up " I'm not hearing it Taz ! Go to your party man " " You really don't have no say so in this Tee , I leave you and you having these nightmares man I'll be running back and fourth up here all night so to just save it I'm staying " I don't know why Tee was so persistent on me going to the party tonight , it was the last thing on my mind. " Taz you spent all that money on the party to have everyone else enjoying it but you , come on don't let me ruin it " " You're not ruining anything , how could you even say something like that , you're my bestfriend I rather be here by your side than any party any day ! I don't care if I spent a million dollars on it ! " Tee knew better than to go back and fourth with me about this , I don't know why she even bothered. I got up to throw the trash away and my phone started ringing. " Hey Taz wassup ? " Lee said on the other line " Hey baby girl I'm here at the hospital with Tee " " So I take that as you're not coming to your party tonight ? " I turned around and looked back at Tee , she was watching Tv ; it was no way I was leaving her tonight " nah shorty gonna stay here for the night , tell everyone to enjoy " " No she's not staying here I'm gonna have the security take her out ! " Tee yelled in the background " don't listen to her she high off her meds " I laughed " Okay baby , do what you gotta do I'll send the word to everyone , tell Tee I said feel better I'll see you guys tomorrow " " Okay , Thanks Lee " " No problem , Goodnight " I'm sure everyone didn't mind me not showing up , it was a free party for them to enjoy either way. Tee sat with her arms folded across her chest " You can fix your face I'm not changing my mind " " Taz I'll be out of here tomorrow just go to your damn party " " Says who ? " " Says my doctor , I've gotten them to release me in to your care so you can babysit me all you want " This girl is always doing something I swear " Tee you really are a mess " I knew it was no way this girl was gonna let me stay here peacefully " Okay I'll go to this party for a little while , but I'll be right back up here to take you home " she had the biggest goofiest smile across her face " Thank you , I love you , now go bag us some bitches to bring home " I laughed at her and grabbed my stuff to head out , gave Tee a kiss on the forehead and told her if she needed me at any time to call no matter what " Okay okay Taziney byeeee already. "
  I got home around 11:30 the party had already started but no one was really rolling in until around 1 so I had more than enough time. I turned the shower on and laid my clothes out on the bed , did a double check of my accessories that I was putting together with it then proceeded to the bathroom. I had some Future blasting through the stereo to set my mood. I let the hot water take over , lord knows I needed this. I was in the shower for about 45mins when I heard my phone ringing , I jumped out the shower so fast I hit my foot on the edge of the sink " Fuck ! Hello ? " I didn't look at the screen so I assumed it was Tee calling " Are you okay ? You need me to come back ? " " I mean that would be nice " a sweet voice said on the phone , it was Erica , I had totally forgot to call and check on her " Hey beautiful, sorry I didn't call you " " It's okay baby , I was just calling to check on you , how's Tee ? " " She's good , I'm home getting ready for this party she ended up convincing me to go " " Okay that's good " " Are you coming out tonight ? " I asked hoping she would say yes so she could be my date , I had originally planned on taking her with me but I never got around to asking her I even brought her something to match me for tonight's occasion. " Sure , why not I didn't have anything else planned " " Okay good just shower and stuff I have something nice for you i should be there in 20 okay ? " " Okay baby , see you in a few " I hung up and went and got dressed. After I checked myself out in the mirror I grabbed Erica's dressed from the closet and the shoes I brought her from the front door. I hopped in the car and made my way to her. " Hey babe open the door I'm outside " I climbed out the car and grabbed her things from the back seat, when I got inside Erica had some Mary J. Flowing , she came from the room wrapped in her towel hair still wet " Hi baby I missed you " She said as she wrapped her arms around my neck and planted a kiss on my lips " I missed you more " I promise you I'm gonna settle down with this girl sooner than later " Here baby I got you a little something for tonight , I been meaning to asking you to be my date for the night but things been a little hectic " " Thank you Taz and of course I would " she took the bags from my hand and I went to the kitchen to pour myself a drink , I sat at the counter and pulled my phone out , I had messages from everyone asking me when was I pulling up and wishing my a happy birthday seeing as how it was officially my birthday now , Dirty 30 I made it , I took the shot of Henny and cheered to myself. I was reply to messages when Erica came out the room , I damn near dropped my phone when I looked up and saw her , she was absolutely stunning in that all white dress she had on , it was fitted at the top all the way down just above her thigh then it proceeded to flow the rest of the way down with a spilt on the side , it was spaghetti straps and it crossed in the back. Damn I did a good job she topped it off with these simple gold accessories " You look amazing baby " " All thanks to you " she said and walked over to me , if we didn't have to go to this party I probably would have taken her out of that dress right there on the counter. " One shot before the road ? " she asked and we poured a glass and took it back before we headed out the door.
   We pulled up to the club around at almost 2 , it was popping music blasting line still formed outside , the place was to my liking and I approved , remind myself to thank Lisa again. " Hey look who finally showed up " Jimmy said as I entered the building " Hey wassup Jimmy , you know they say better late then never " I said as I gave him a dap , Jimmy was my security he always handled all of my events he was this old school cat who knew my dad and once he passed away he always looked out for me. " I mean fashionably late is your thing " we laughed , when I got inside the places was packed , everyone who was everyone was at my party and it made me feel real good. I said my hellos to everyone and introduced Erica and made my way to my VIP section , I had told Lee to make her way there with the girls and get comfortable so they were the first people I saw when I got up there. " Hey Hun , you made it " Lee said as she got up and gave me a hug " Yeah man Tee wasn't having it no other way " " Hey Erica , nice to see you again " " Hello ladies " everyone greeted each other and we sat down " Hey how is she ? " Robin asked " She's good , she will be home tomorrow " " That's good , tell her to call me if anything " " Will do sweet heart " " Okay guys now let's go get on this dance floor ! " Lee said holding her glass up , we all grabbed our glasses mad a toast and headed to the dance floor. The night was amazing , everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves Erica and I were practically glued to each other like two love birds all night. I was happy she came out with me because I definitely needed her company. The party ended about 5:45am , everyone was leaving and saying their goodbyes , me and Erica were pretty intoxicated so I asked Jimmy to drive us home. We got home around 6:30 and were out like a light in half of our clothes.
