3 years already passed; 3 years of my adventure as a foreign, rookie defence attorney in The Kingdom of Khura'in. Now that I think of it... I would never saw what I did, and learned what I learned if not for this place. Heh, if not Sir Ok'he'eh I would be stuck in Los Tokyo Angeles.

I should introduce myself; my name is Ela Kern, a defence attorney from Los Tokyo Angeles that moved without any experience to defend people in The Kingdom of Khura'in. I'm not special, just an ordinary girl with two ponytails and finished regular schooling. Nothing out of ordinary... Well except for one thing but we will get there.

And it all began that day; the day I was left all alone. A rookie vs. Demon Prosecutor. But I defeated him, somehow, and proved Ms. Essix Innocent, who disappeared after they found her. No one knew where she left, no one knew when she would return. She just disappeared like a magician. But that day, I met someone that changed my life...

I sighed and just, fell on the floor. I was left alone on a battlefield. Not 'literal' battlefield but for me, a mere 16 year old with no defence experience who just defeated a Demon Prosecutor, it WAS something.

I finally stood up, looking around; the gallery was empty like a graveyard but was occupied by tenths of spectators a minute ago. The courtroom didn't really change that much, it was just... empty and silent...

I smiled to myself and started walking but then I felt like someone was stalking me... And then another feeling, a feeling of someone's presence... And then, I heard someone trying to jump on me or hug me from behind...

"WELL DONE DEFENCE ATTORNEY!" I heard someone say as I turned around and slapped whoever it was.

The blow was that powerful and with a pinch of surprise, that the attacker(I guess???) fell on the floor, aching and yelping in pain.

"This hurt you know!"I heard him say it.

I looked at him more careful. My attacker was a boy around my age; his hair was a total mess, just like Harry's when he joined our class and had a golden colour with... Black cat ears? Anyway, he wore a black-and-white vest with red, unbuttoned jacket over it and a pair of sky blue jeans with one of them rolled up. His face was literally beaming with optimism and with a red mark I gave him.

"Who are you?" I asked as I crossed my hands and glared at him.

"You didn't need to hit me..."He mumbled as he stood up; he then smiled at me like nothing happened."Khe'tha'tii Ok'he'eh, Defence Attorney from The Kingdom of Khura'in at your service!"

"'Khe'tha- what now?"

"I guessed you wouldn't be able to say it so I figured out a more English name - Kataki Oken!"

Oken... Really? I guess that's why he is wearing his neko ears... Moving on...

"Kingdom of Khura'in?" I repeated as he grinned at me again, nodding energetically."What are you doing here then? Moreover, what do you need from me?"

"I just saw you defend whoever-was-on-trial-but-probably-was-important against that Prosecutor and I'm pretty impressed." He complimented me.

"Your point being?"I tilted my head.

"Do you maybe want to join Oken & Co. Offices back in Khura'in? I mean, we have a shortage of Defence Attorneys and you would do gre-!"He added as I straighten up.
