Chapter 60

Sophia's 1st birthday

Mac POV
Waking up to a silent house isn't something I have had over they last week, there's always a noise somewhere  around the house.

I look at Ariana who is sleeping next to me, which is unusual for me to see this because Ariana is normally up before me.
I tap her shoulder and she begins to stretch, she opens her eyes and smiles "morning baby" she says making my smile grow even wider. "Morning princess," I sat back giving her a kiss before sliding out of bed, she sticks he bottom lip out and I laugh at how cute she looks. I pull her out of her bed and she starts to shiver even though it was summer,  walk with her to the closet and get her a jumper and some pants. I I changed her completely and I pull her into a hug after I have changed her "you feel better" I ask with a smirk on my face "much" she says and I can feel her smiling on my chest.

"Lets go get everything ready before we wake Sophia" she says and I nod. We walk down stairs and get everything ready.

We both walk back up the stairs to Sophia's room and get her up, she was so happy to see us it was so cute. We lift her up out of the cot and change her and we carry her down stairs.

We placed her on the floor and she crawled over to the presents. "Wow wait a minute Sophia" Ariana says and I chuckle, Sophia pulls her little hands away and sits patiently.

Ariana POV
My mum came son after I told Sophia not to open the present and she took a photo of me Mac and Sophia by the presents, I posted it with the caption my baby girls first birthday, huge happy birthday to Sophia.

We let her try open the presents, we didn't wrap them tightly since she was only young.

She went for all the toy ones first but there was one that was hidden from her because she had to open that one last.

Her little face was so happy, and smiley it was so cute.

She finished unwrapping her presents with a little bit of help but she was circled with paper and toys and clothes and teddies, Mac took a photo of her and posted it Sophia's first birthday much love for this little girl.

We had cake and everyone left us and we watched a film, it wasn't unusual for us to be watching kiddi movies and tv shows me and Mac all was got engrossed in what was on tv we forgot it was a children's program.

Mac taped my shoulder and pointed to Sophia who had a really dirty face I chuckle. Once the movie had finished we both bathed Sophia, and we put her to bed.

I was the last one to leave Sophia's room and Mac had disappeared off somewhere.

"Babu" I say walking into our bedroom "yes" he says smiling "can we watch a fi again" i ask and he nods.

I walk to the closet and get out some shorts and a mini crop top and change "is there ever a time you don't stare at me" i ask "no I always stare at you, your my princess"  he tells me and I smile.

It wasn't long until I was picked up and carried down stairs to the couch, I was placed down on his lap and we cuddled through out the film.

Mac POV
The film was boring but I couldn't be bothered changing film so I just kept with the same film. "SHIT" Ariana says making me jump since we were in silence "what baby what's happened" I ask "I forgot to give Sophia one of her presents" she tells me and I roll my eyes "you can give it her tomorrow" I tell her and she starts to relax again.
