Chapter 24

Ariana POV
It was Wednesday and I have just finished my tour I got back to my hotel room safely. It's been very quiet the last few days with Mac not being around I wish that we could just be together but we can't at this moment in time I get to see him Friday though so that's a good thing and then our tour is done.

I looked at my phone at saw that it was 11pm and I was debating on wether or not to call Mac or just call him in the morning, I needed sleep before he came back otherwise I would have traveled to be with him but he refused to let me come.

I grab my phone and no matter what my mind wanted I wanted to call my baby
Calling Mac miller #babu 😘

He answers "hello baby are you ok it's late" "yh I'm fine I really just wanted to talk to you" "oh alright well you have finished your tour how do you feel about that" " i feel relived that I don't have to travel as much and that I don't have to worry as much and that I get to focus on family and friends and especially you now when your done" "aww baby I miss you so much" "I miss you to what day do you come home" I was praying that it would be Friday "this is going to disappoint you but I get home Saturday at 1am in the morning so Friday night in a way and I don't expect you to be up because you'll be tired" "are you sure you wanna come home straight after your last show I don't mind if you sleep and then come home early Saturday and arrive later" I really wanted him to say no but I could understand if he wanted to stay I knew he was only coming straight home to see me "I'm sure I can just sleep a bit of the day" " right ok I'm gonna let you get some rest ready for the next 2 days ahead of you" "okay baby I love you sleep tight" " I love you too"

We end the call I put my phone on charge and I drift of to sleep I end up having a dream about Mac and how loveable he is and it was a nice sweet full dream.

Mac POV
After being in the phone with Ari it made me realise how much I missed her I needed to get her a gift to show her how much I appreciated  her. I didn't need to I think she know how much I do but I wanted to, I went to sleep thinking of all the gifts I could give her and there was one that stood out, one thing she has always wanted and I was going to get it her, I drifted off to sleep and I dreamt about her reaction it was priceless.

I wake up in the morning by the sound of my phone ringing I expected it to be Ari but I thought why would she be I looked at me phone and sat that it was my manager so I answered it "hi" I said in my morning voice "you are meeting Andrea in 1 hour so get ready she will be at your door, I can't be there and I need you to practice" "okay" I say getting out of bed and heading towards the bathroom.

He was right Andrea was at the door within 1 hour and I walked out the house and she started talking straight away." So we need to head to the stage and practise" " okay" I said but all I could think about was the gift I was going to get Ari I needed it to be perfect and I needed it now, I'm sure If I ask Andrea she won't mind we have been friends for ages and we have a good connection, she's also a good friend of Ariana so  sure she'll help "I heard about you and Ariana and your engagement I'm so happy for you and I also heard about what (I'm calling his manager TJ I have tried to find out his name but couldn't do it) TJ did to her I bet you felt devastated" "I did but were alright now she wouldn't speak to me and I had to get scooter to help me get to her but the day I went she wanted to speak to me but scooter had her phone and that weren't part of the plan but at least we are all good now" "that's the main thing that you can work through arguments" we are near the town centre and I look over to Angela "umm Angela I know you under strict instruction but is there any chance we could go to the shops before we go to the stage" "umm it depend on what for". She looks at me confused "umm well I wanted to umm get umm" "just say it "I wanted to get a present for Ariana and I can't stop thinking about it and it's in my mind and I would rather do that first and then be able to practice satisfied." "Sure I'll ring the crew and tell them and tell them not to tell TJ because this is important and it needs doom before we practise.

We sat in silence for the next few minutes "umm Mac do you mind me asking what this gift is because it seems like it means something to you" "umm it's a canvas that I made a collage of her and her family her and momma her grandpa her mum her brother me, I wanted to give her something special and I know it will mean a lot to her. After her grandpa passed away she kept all the photos of him on an album and I sent them all to me the other day and deleted them after because I wanted it to be a surprise.

We head into the shop and wait for the canvas to be made and once it's done we head to the stage, we have a successful performance and I'm actually excited to perform tomorrow because I get to go home and I can give her the gift that I have made.

Once we are done practicing I get a call from TJ I answer and he says great practice and I know you went shop before you practised but what ever you got must have been in you mind because that's the way practice and performance you have done all week.

Andrea takes me back to my hotel and I put the canvas on my suit case so that it doesn't get damaged and I call Ariana, we were on the phone for hours and it made me feel like I was at home and it made me miss her so much. I said goodbye ands got some sleep because I need to be awake and ready to perform tomorrow afternoon.

Morning soon arise and I was up and ready to perform I think I was more excited to go home than I was to perform and it was my last performance of the tour so that made a difference. The performance flew by I had my bags packed and was at the airport in no time i waited to board and then I got in the plane and was on my way home. I fell asleep on the plane just to pass time.

Ariana POV
I cleaned the house and made it welcome for Mac when he got In so he could just get in bed and fall asleep because I knew he would want to sleep if the jet lag I had 40 minutes to wait till he was off the plane and on his way back to me, I had never been so excited, he expected me to be asleep but I didn't wanna sleep I was excited even though he was going straight to
Sleep I still wanted to see him.

Im off the plane see you soon xx he messages me but I just ignore it because j wanted to surprise him and he will think I'm asleep.

Mac POV
Ariana didn't get back to my text so I presuming that she's asleep. I had the canvas on my lap just in case she was awake, I open the front door and the house was clean, you could tell that she had finished her tour because everything was in place I left my bags down stairs because it was too much effort to carry them upstairs.

I open the bedroom door and I had the canvas in my hands. I switched the light on and Ariana looked at me and said "I have missed you and I love you so so much" I walk over to the bed and hand her the wrapped present, she opens it and her mouth opens " I love you" she says and kisses me "I love you too" " you didn't have to do this, you know I hate it when you give me gifts but I do love it" " i k ow you hate it but I wanted to I wanted to show you how much you mean to me" "I know how much you mean to me how did you get these photos of my nonna and grandpa "well just before I left I sent them me and then deleted the message once I had saved them because I wanted it to be a surprise." "I really do love you" "I know you do now let's get some sleep" I say kissing her in the forehead as she places the canvas under bed till morning so she don't break it and we slowly drift off to sleep cuddling each other
