Chapter 29

Mac POV
"Baby gonna go and get a drink do you want one" I ask unwrapping myself from her. "Umm can I have some water please" she asks nicely "oh and can you pass me my phone" she asks and I start to get nervous. I pass her the phone and I walk out, to get the water and my drink. I was acting like I didn't know because I think that it would make it worse if I looked at her phone.

I place the glasses at the the counter and I place one under the tap. As I put it back on the counter I hear something being thrown across the room, which made a loud bang on the wall.

I run back into the bedroom to find her phone on the other side of the room and Ari in tears, I run over to her making sure she is ok well not ok because I knew she weren't more comforting her.

I knew exactly what's wrong. "Baby what's happened" I ask bring her closer into me, she stays silent.

Ariana POV
I couldn't speak, did I really just see what I just saw. Mac was speaking to me but I was speechless. "Ari please tell me" he asked again "m-m-my" I hesitated "my d-dad" I finally spoke. "What about him, what's he done" he asked. "Read the message for your self" I get up and grab the phone luckily it hadn't broken and walk back over and sit with Mac.

Hey baby girl,do you miss you dad,well as you know your mum told you what I said well that was a lie and I really want to make things right with you,or else something bad will happen but I can't say what will happen

Mac POV
Reading that message again makes me feel so lucky I am with her. "Ari I was there with your mum when she was in the phone" I say trying to reassure her that her mum was telling the truth "I know she was but I don't want anything bad to happen" she says and I wipe the tears away from her eyes.

"We need to tell the police about this he's threatening you and I don't want you to be scared again"I was referring back to the Manchester attack but she knew I was right. "Ok I'll tell the police.

She makes a phone call to the police and they say they will help. "I need to tell my mum" she blurts out and I nod in agree.

Ariana POV
"Do you want me to stay when you talk to your mum" he asks me "please I don't want to be alone"

Dialling Mummy 😘👩‍👧
Mum: hello?
Ari:h-hello
Mum: Ari are you alright
Ari: not really
Mum: what's happened, did Mac do something
Ari:no he's here right now attacked to me, it's um my dad he's threatened me so we had to get the police involved
Mum:omg ari I'm so sorry, what did he say
Ari:Hey baby girl,do you miss you dad,well as you know your mum told you what I said well that was a lie and I really want to make things right with you,or else something bad will happen but I can't say what will happen
Mum:omg ari I hope your alright.
Ari:I'll be fine if I have Mac with me, he did well protection me with what happened in Manchester so I hope he does now
Mum: I love you Ariana please stay safe
Ari: I will I love you 2
End of phone call

"I will protect you don't worry, I love to protect you"I hear Mac say "I love you" I say back

Mac POV
"Baby" I ask "yes" she says back looking at me "umm I understand if you want to go home, I don't mind if you do" I ask her "no you booked this holiday for us to enjoy, I want to enjoy it too, I would rather be here with you than anywhere else" she says and I smile "are you sure baby girl". "Yh I want to be with you" I give her a kiss and get her the glass of water she ordered before this all happened

Ariana POV
He's so sweet, he always puts me first, if I needed anything he will be there. I do want to go home but at the same time I want to stay, I want to spend this time together and the police will keep us safe.

Mac enters the room again and hands me the water and I drink it up straight away "were you thirst by any chance" he asks and I laugh "see we have the smile back already"

"Babu can we go out into the woods today theses a really nice pond in the Forrest and I would love to see it" I smile and he nods "your staying close by me your not aloud out of my sight" I laugh"your acting like my mother" "well all I want to do is protect you.

Mac picks out my outfit since I didn't even know what he had packed me. He walks back out with what I am wearing, "I love it" I tell him and he smiles "I knew you would now come here I'll help you dress" I walk over to him and he helps me dress just like he said.

He loves it when he gets to dress me, I find it funny because every chance he gets he will just to see me naked. I chuckle at my thoughts "what you laughing at" Mac says "umm nothing" I say and I blush "tell me please" he begs "just at you, you always like helping me change" I look away in embarrassment "always here to help" he winks.

He gets dressed and we head out into the woods. He packed a packed lunch as well more like a picnic.

Mac POV
We find a bench surrounded by nice view and we decide it's a good apt to stop for some food.

"Ariana" she looks at me "yes" "I have something to say" "ok what you gotta say" she smiles "um well I will always be here for you no matter what it has broken my heart when you have been sad and have had bad relationships, I will keep you safe I promise if it means I die, I love you with all my heart and I always will and have" she stares into my eyes the whole way through my speech "aww I love you Malcom" she says and leans over and kisses me

After we have eaten we put our rubbish in the near by bin and head to this lake that Ariana wanted to see while we were walking hand in hand we were silent, which was soon broken by Ariana

Ariana POV
"I love you Mac I really do, I have never had a man like you before, you truly mean the world to me and I have never said that to anyone before." I say and he smiles, we carry on walking until we see the lake.

"Omg it's so beautiful" I let go of Macs hand and run near the lake

Mac POV
Ariana runs off and I chase after her, we were running around chasing each other like little kids for a while until Ariana fell over.

I run over to her to make sure she was ok and she was laughing "are you alright" I asked her "Yh I'm fine you care about me too much" she said while laughing "your my world Ariana I need to protect you and care for you" she laughs

We sit by the lake until it starts to get late, we didn't bring a flashlight so we had to head back so we could see where we were going.

When we reach back to the lodge, we get changed into some comfy clothes and we get into bed. I wrap my arms around her like I do every night "you safe now baby, right here in my arms" I wilder into her ear "I love you Mac, I am always safe when I'm in your arms I know it"

She slowly drifts of to sleep and I place her phone next to mine on charge.

I want to say thankyou for 1k view I didn't think my book would get one and I thought it was rubbish.
