Dalton's pov

It's been a few days and Skylen has gotten a little better. She got to the point where she just sniffles a lot sleeps all day and is loopy and has no idea what she's saying. It's adorable. I'm at her house almost all the time. I'm surprised I'm not sick. I still haven't met her dad and to be honest I'm kind of scared to.

Skylen told me she loves listening to piano. She said she could listen to it all day, especially Heaven. The last few days Skylen has had a really bad headache. She said the one thing that could make the headache go away was the sound of a grand piano. I remembered the grand piano at my mom's house which is only 10 minutes away from Skylen's place. I picked up my phone and called my mom.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Mommy!" i replied

"Hey Dalton what's up?"

"Not much. Do you mind if i bring my sick girlfriend to the house so I can play piano to her?"

"Sure thing. We're out so it will just be you two. Have your key right?

"Yes I do! Thanks mom!"

"Sure baby. Just don't do anything stupid."

"Mom"

"Im joking! i love you!"

"Love you too! Bye." And i hung up.

Skylen was curled up in a ball on the couch looking as beautiful as ever. But i was concerned. I know she doesn't feel well and she hasn't eaten and rarely drinks anything. I'm scared. I picked up Skylen bridle style and brought her to her SUV. I put her in the front seat as she was still wrapped in a blanket.

"Dalton where are we going?" she said as she was still mostly asleep.

"Nowhere babe. Just go back to sleep." she nodded and fell asleep. I kissed her forehead and got in the driver seat. I drove to my mom's house and parcked the car. I unlocked the door then ran back to Skylen who was still in the car. I picked her up and started walking to the house. She looked up at the house then back at me. She smiled then dug her face in my neck. I brought her inside closing the door with my foot behind me. I placed her down on a couch next to the grand piano. I sat down at the piano and started playing. I started playing Stop then switched to Heaven.

I kept singing. Just letting go. When i finished i looked at Skylen and she smiled. "I've always loved the acoustic version Heaven. So peaceful." i smiled. "I know baby. I found my heaven in you." i walked over to her and kissed her forehead. I went back and continued to play whatever song came to mind.

Skylens POV

I was mostly asleep but i could hear every word he sang.

"This is song Max wrote for us. This is your song darling." he said in a soft voice.

Walk into a room with unfamiliar faces. But yours caught my eye
