Kekkei Genkai Rant and Description Help

Ah, Kekkei Genkai... One of the many things that make Naruto ocs bad. Every single one of the Naruto ocs I've seen have a kekkei genkai. Many of them are eye based jutsu that have no explanation whatsoever. They're just there. Or they have some super special kekkei genkai that shoots lighting and fire lazers.
No. Stop.
*If you plan to give your character a kekkei genkai, you MUST HAVE AN EXPLAINATION. *
Every kekkei genkai in Naruto has an explanation and chakra science behind it. Each one has a weakness. Each one has a fault. Each one has a reason for it's existence. Do you get my point?
If people **do* put up an explanation, then it's usually only a paragraph or two paragraphs long. Really? If you plan on making a believable, non Mary Sue kekkei genkai, you need to take your time.
Those are the scariest words you've ever heard right?

"Take my time?! But I don't want to spend that long making my oc and their attributes!"

Then don't make an oc. Simple. And even if your oc is actually really good, you must take your time on special abilities like a kekkei genkai. If you don't plan to spend a long time on your character, don't give them a kekkei genkai. The quality and reasoning behind it has to be long and detailed or else it won't sound like a real Naruto kekkei genkai. Every chakra nature has another chakra nature that they are weak against, so this special power must have weaknesses too. The Uchiha's Sharingan takes up a lot of chakra and eventually exhausts the user, so does the Hyuuga's Byakugan. This is a simple weakness that can hinder performance during long, dragged out battles.
Every weakness must affect the user in actual battles. Being a clumsy singer is a good example of a weakness not having any effect on their abilities. However, a clumsy dancer will have her career affected if she messes up on stage due to her clumsiness.
A kekkei genkai cannot have a weakness like specific justu. E.G.: Rasengan.
Other than Naruto, only Minato, Jiraiya, Boruto, Konohamaru, and Momoshiki Otsutsuki. In other words, this weakness is petty and very obnoxious. Nobody but those 7 people will ever be able to take out your character if they use their kekkei genkai.

If you are following me and still plan to give your oc a kekkei genkai, you must write an explanation including the following:
Which clan is this kekkei genkai specific to? (According to many Naruto articles, a kekkei genkai can also be specific to on person, or many who are not related at all. If this is the case, explain why it is specific to that person or those people)
Which two chakra natures are combined in order for this to work? (Eye kekkei genkai don't have this, which makes it even more annoying when someone makes an eye based kekkei genkai. Find more here: http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Kekkei_Genkai )
What are the effects of the kekkei genkai? (What happens when a target is hit by it?)
What are the main weaknesses? (E.G.: Hard to land, uses too much chakra, must be precise with the amount of chakra used for it, etc...)
Short or Long Ranged?
What does it look like? (That is, if it's visible. E.g.: Haku, Mei, Uchiha clan.)
Describe it in as much detail as possible. It should be more than two paragraphs.
