Mirio's eyes fluttered open, bright sunlight filtering into the nearly pristine white room through the opened curtains. The room was quiet, a big difference to what he experienced during his latest mission. He only remembered fighting against Chisaki, both with and without his quirk.

He clenched his hand, upset at his failure, but felt another's grasp on his pale fingers. He turned his head, seeing your dozing form on the chair besides him. He smiled, the way the sunlight fell on your face made you look as beautiful as the day you first met, despite the number of bandages that covered your body.

He almost felt bad for having to wake you up, as he shook your arm. You woke up, your head rising to meet his blues eyes with your own [eye color] ones. "Mirio. . ." You whispered breathlessly, before the two of you reunited with a hug. Well, a sloppy hug because of the injuries the both of you had sustained.

You held onto him like it was his last day alive, tears slowly falling from your eyes and onto his bare back. "You're so dumb, Mirio. Why didn't you wait for anyone!" You cried into his shoulder, holding onto him tighter. "Eri needed a hero, that's why," He replied, pulling away from the hug so that you could see his signature smile.

He leaned forward and wiped away your tears, only causing you to cry more. "Scoot over, dumb-dumb. I want to lay down with you," You told him. He obeyed and moved to the side, giving you just enough space on the bed.

You slid into the bed and under the sheets besides him, leaning your head on his chest. He wrapped his arm around you, "You know, [Name], when I was fighting with Chisaki, I thought I'd never have you in my arms again," Mirio pitched in, savoring the feeling of your warmth in his arms once more.

"I thought I'd never feel your surprise hugs again when Tamaki and I came to help take out Chisaki and save Eri," You mumbled in response, "But you're Mirio Togata, my hero. I knew deep down that you'd survive."

Mirio frowned, "[Name]. I can't activate my quirk, I can't be a hero anymore," He explained, causing you to let out a huff of annoyance. "Did I stutter? I said you're still my hero, being quirkless doesn't change that. You're still Lemillion, and you're still the same hero that beat up Chisaki and saved Eri. So turn that frown upside down."

His frown turned into a smile, knowing that you still loved him despite being quirkless helped him a lot. "Nevermind me, what happened to Tamaki and the others? I want to know how they're doing," Mirio asked, trying to change the subject. You knew that he was smiling nevertheless, Mirio wasn't the type to just the subject like that after all.

"Tamaki and I fought against three of them, but we managed to win. He's okay, they even let him out of the hospital already. Kirishima and Fatgum fought against one, but he was hellbent on killing Kirishima, so Kirishima isn't doing so hot," You explained. "I don't know about the conditions of the others, since they weren't apart of my team. I'm sure all of the underclassman, Nejire, and Hawkeye are doing fine though."

You sighed, "I'm so worried for Kirishima, Fatgum told me that he's in critical condition. That villain beat him up pretty badly, Tamaki and I are going to visit him later."

"I'll visit him too!" Mirio exclaimed, "We could get some ramen together too, us only! We can go on another date night to add to the photo album, just like old times." You laughed, seeing an excited Mirio never failed to make your heart flutter, "You were always the type to bounce back from bad things so fast. C'mon, let's go."
