Your POV
Yesterday was boring as fuck. Dave didn't come see me at all yesterday he probably didn't have time... who am I kidding he hates me! He just used shopping as an excuse to not see me I got that droopy feeling in my stomach again I guess I should've expected this, I mean when does the cute boy ever fall for the boring girl.
12:00
Okay I ate so much ice cream I feel like I'm about to have a food baby... turns out that the bar gives out ice cream, catch this, for FREE!! So knowing me I got as much as humanly possible and ate it all. I saw Dave walk to the table tennis table with his brother, I didn't try to catch his eye and I didn't go up to start a conversation. I told myself that I didn't want to stress about anything or anyone this holiday so I won't, I mean if he wants to talk to me he'll just come up to me right?
I looked down at my watch... 12:01 I need to do something or I'm going to go insane. So I take off my cover up and I jump into the pool in my bikini. I swam around a bit but that got a bit boring so I just sat at the pool side kicking my legs in the water. Well that was until I heard a massive splash and water flew at me, I closed my eyes tight so that I didn't get water in them and I held my hands over my face but it didn't do much. I gave a massive dirty look to the person who splashed me then I realised that it was Dave.
"Hey" he said with his head bobbing out of the water
"Oh um- hi" I said staring at the floor
"What's wrong?" he asked looking genuinely concerned
"Oh it's nothing"
I felt a sudden yank on my leg and I went flying into the pool
"I guess we are even now" he laughed
I playfully punched his shoulder and he threw a ball at my face
"What the hell?!" I said laughing as I launched it at him, hitting him bang on the nose. He laughed and swam up next to me

"Hey, me and my brother found this cool volleyball pitch up the back... wanna come with me to go check it out?" he asked

"Of course" i replied, happy that he wanted to hang out with me

Finn/Dave's POV

I climbed out of the pool and turned around to help y/n up. I held out a hand and when she grabbed it my stomach fluttered and i felt sick. I pulled her up out of the water and she giggled

"Thanks macho man" she said laughing to herself ,i looked at the floor and laughed then looked up at her eyes, they were a beautiful e/c color i smiled to myself as she blushed pink. I didn't realise how long i'd been staring at her.

"sorry" i said, she let out a little awkward giggle

"Lead the way" she said gesturing, without thinking i grabbed her hand and dragged her behind me as i ran towards the pitch, she didn't stop laughing the entire time.

your POV

When we got to the volleyball pitch he let go of my hand which was now all hot and sweaty because of how nervous I was, "want a game?" he asked to which i replied "duh. But be prepared, team y/n never fails!" "we will see about that" he said with a smirk, running to the other side of the court and grabbing the ball.

We played non stop for a solid 5 minutes and it was a draw, whoever wins this round is the official "volleyball champion" as you reached down to grab the ball that was beside you, you noticed that Dave had gone all red... was... was he looking at my but? oh god, i felt my cheeks go hot and red too. But that gave me an idea, as i was about to serve i winked at him, his face dropped into an O shape and i whacked the ball, it hit Dave right in the middle of his head

"Bingo!" I said punching the air with a big grin plastered across my face. "Hey! that wa- you cheated!" said Dave looking genuinely disappointed "well, sucks for you!" I chuckled, his convincing disappointed face broke into a laugh and he ducked over the net to stand next to me "you are a pretty good actor" I laughed, because i actually thought that he was seriously upset but his face dropped "what... did i say something wrong?" i asked worried "no it's... it's nothing" he replied, huh... weird. "we should get dinner from the buffet" I suggested "that's a good idea.... but it doesn't open for another 20 minutes" he replied looking slightly happier again, "oh yeah, wanna just sit down for a bit then?" i asked "sure" he said, we walked over to the grassy part surrounding the pitch and i sat down. Dave sat very close next to me and it made my heart race, the sky darkened as the sun went behind a cloud and i shivered as the temperature dropped. Dave looked over at me and saw that i was cold, he lifted his arm and put it over me and pulled me in tight to try warm me up "is this any better?" he asked his heartbeat was even faster than mine right now "much better" I said, he smiled at that and gradually his heartbeat slowed down again. Was he as nervous as I was right now? Nah, he doesn't like me like that. This was just a friendly thing to do to other friends who are no more than friends... right? yeah thats it. Before we knew it, 20 minutes pass and we made our way up to the buffet, my mum and dad were going on "date night" at some fancy restaurant so they didn't mind if i had dinner with Dave's family.

Finn/Dave's POV

Me and y/n both went up to grab some food to put on our plate and we made our way over to a table, I told my parents in advance to call me Dave so that she wouldn't get confused but a feeling deep down inside of me has a feeling deep down in my gut like this won't work out. No turning back now though.

A/N- HOPE YOU LIKED THIS EPISODE!!! THERE WILL BE A DAY 3.5 UPLOADED TOMORROW THAT WILL SHOW WHAT HAPPENS AT THE DINNER, IT MIGHT BE A SHORT ONE TOMORROW AND THAT IS WHY I AM UPLOADING 2 IN THE SAME DAY TO MAKE UP FOR IT
