It's been around half a year since me and Finn had met at Hawaii in between that time we had shared countless FaceTime calls, it started off daily but eventually it went to once every few weeks. We broke up around the 3rd month but we are just really close friends now that FaceTime every so often, long distance was hard that's why we ended things, it was more or less mutual but I was the one who suggested it.

I was just scrolling through Instagram when I got an incoming FaceTime call from Finn, I immediately accepted the call and sat up.

"Hey!" I shouted
"Hi y/n, I've got some good news!" He said looking strangely excited
"Go on" I replied slightly worried
"I don't know if I told you about my family in y/h/t (your home town)" he said grinning.
"No you haven't" I said smiling, I think i know what he is going to say next.
"Well we are visiting them! So we will be able to meet up again!!" He said staring into the camera to see my reaction
"Oh my god!!! WHEN?" I screamed
"In like 2 weeks!! We are staying a couple of minutes away from your house!" He laughed
"That's insane!! It's been too long since we've seen each other!" I said jumping up and down on my bed
"You can show me your favourite places in your area" he said looking behind him
"Yeah!" I shouted
"I've gotta go but talk later?" He said distracted by something
"Obviously!" I replied stunned by what had just happened, I went over our conversation a few times in a my head and double checked that I wasn't dreaming, nope this was real
(Your ship name) united, but this time as... friends, wow I hope this doesn't get weird.
