"Earth to y/n..." a soft voice spoke giving me a light shake, the sun was shining brightly and caught my eyes as I sat up.
"Yeah, sorry" I said with a sweet smile
"Are you gonna finish that?" They reply leaning over my shoulder and looking at my phone
"What? Oh yeah... I forgot" I yawned, still kinda out of it.
"How did you even fall asleep on the floor?" They laugh putting their arm around my shoulder.
"We were out late last night and I didn't sleep when we got back" I shrugged wiping my eyes. A loud beep came from their pocket and made me jump.
"Sorry, sorry" they say pulling their phone out of their pocket "its my mum, I've got to go home now"
"Call me later" I shout as they begin to leave the room, they turn back and nod before leaving completely. I sigh and put my phone away, it's a cold morning so I grab a blanket and wrap myself like a burrito.
Later on, after laying back in bed for a couple of hours and catching some missed sleep from last night, I took out my phone again to see if I had any missed calls but I didn't, instead I had a text from a random number

I tried to think of who it could've been. After a while of considering, I came to the conclusion that it was probably some random who crashed my birthday party last night. I ignored the text and called my boyfriend
