"I'm sorry about last night I was a mess" Finn spoke on the phone, I felt a little guilty about talking to him behind Noah's back. But I couldn't just ignore Finn, I mean I know we can't date anymore but we can still be friends.
"Don't sweat it" I said reassuringly
"Thanks" he replied, there was a long pause before he spoke again. What he said broke my heart.
"I meant what I said though, I miss you" Noah mustn't have told him about me and him, I didn't have the heart to tell him.
"I miss you too" I admitted, I wasn't lying. I still really cared about him.
"So what have you been up to? I see you deleted your social media and basically vanished off the face of the earth" I giggled, changing the subject as fast as I could
"Just being stupid, that was the point. I wanted to do dumb teenager things without it all being broadcasted everywhere" he sighed
"I get that" I smiled, it was so strange hearing Finns voice after all this time
"Speaking of... How about I come visit you?" He said, I could almost hear the smirk on his face
"I don't think that's a good idea" I frowned "maybe we should just keep to phone talk for a bit"
"Fair enough, we don't want to rush anything" Finn sighed, he was misunderstanding me so badly but I still didn't have the heart to tell him I'm with someone else.
"Yeah I mean we were such good friends weren't we?" I said, making sure I over emphasised the 'friends' part so he might get the idea
"Yeah we were, that's why I insist! I must see you" he proudly spoke, I sighed. I guess it won't hurt anyone if Noah doesn't find out?
A/n - I think I might stick to updating shorter chapters more frequently just because it's better then updating long ones like once a month. Sorry.
Ps I'm going to NYC tomorrow so I won't be able to update for the rest of this week
