Day 9

Your POV

It's day 9, my final day at Hawaii. When me and Finn talked this morning there was a sadness in his voice, he looked as if any moment he would burst into tears. We had breakfast this morning together and we were leaving at lunch time.
"Hey y/n, what are we gonna do?" Finn asked me

"What do you mean?" I replied

"Like how are we gonna stay together when we know that we are never going to see each other again" he asked me avoiding eye contact

"We could FaceTime and stuff" I replied "Just see how everything works from then"

"Yeah I guess" he said kicking a stone across the floor

We walked to the park and surprisingly no one was there we sat on the swings in silence but we both knew what the other was thinking "we're fucked"

"Y/n! Let's do something insane" Finn said out of the blue

"Huh?" I said jumping at his sudden movements

"It's the last time for a long time that we will see each other in person, let's do something crazy" he said standing in front of my swing 

"Like what?" I said laughing

"I dunno... but we can't spend our last day together sulking" he said walking closer to me

"Your right" I said standing up, our noses were almost touching because we were so close, I looked away as I blushed but Finn grabbed my face and lead it back to facing him again. He put his forehead on mine and he started to kiss me, I was expecting Jack to run in it a group of girls to start snapping photons of us because that's what usually happened when we were in a moment but that wasn't the case. I pulled away and Finn looked me up and down, all of a sudden I felt really self conscious and I wrapped my arms around my body.
"Let's go exploring, like go see somewhere outside of the resort" he said

"Yeah" I said looking at the floor

He grabbed my hand and lead me towards the tall hills that were just along from the beach, we walked for a couple of minutes, when we reached the top of the hill we sat down

"The view is amazing isn't it" I said
You could see the sky and the water were basically the same colour and there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, the palm trees were a stunning green colour and the sun is so bright. 

"Yeah" he replied outing his arm around me, he started to take his hoodie off

"Too hot?" I asked

"No, I want you to have this. To remember me when you go home" he said handing me it.

"That's so cute! Thanks!" I said putting it on, it was a grey hoodie with black drawstrings it smelt like his aftershave, it was a bit big on me but I didn't care. Finn smiled at me and snuggled into me
"Looks great" he said, I felt his breath in my hair as he spoke.

I don't know what I'm going to do without him.
"We could run away" Finn said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"You don't have to go home, we could run away and live in Hawaii" he said, I looked up at him to see if he was joking but he looked dead serious.

"Your insane Finn" I said he looked so sad, I tried to cheer him up by saying "we can visit each other" but he still wasn't smiling.

"It's nearly time for me to leave we should head back" I said standing up

Tears rolled down my face as Finn gave me one last hug.
"Don't forget me Finn Wolfhard" I said in my shaking voice
"How would I ever forget you y/n" he replied with a sniff, if he was crying too I would be crying even more. I looked up at his stunning brown eyes with my suitcase in my hands, Finn was staying for an extra 2 days so he wouldn't be getting on the same flight as me like last time.

"FaceTime every night?" I asked

"Obviously" he replied

I pulled away as my parents gestured for me to come over, I kissed his cheek and walked over too the car that was taking us to the airport.
