"You think my 1st instinct is to protect you because you are small or a girl or a stiff. But you're wrong. My 1st instinct is to push you until you break, just to see how hard I have to press. But I resist it. Because fear doesn't shut you down; it wakes you up. I've seen it. It's fascinating."

I awoke to barking outside my door and groaned. I was almost back asleep when I realised something.

I don't have a dog.

I bolted out of bed and tripped on something.

A camera.

"What the-"

"Leo!" A guy screamed, running in with some silly string. He started spraying me and I stared at him in confusion.

"Wake up, Leo!" Another guy shouted running in.

Another guy came in singing 'Circle of Life' on the top of his lungs.

"I, Heath Lucks, command you, Leo King, to wake up!"

Just then the guy singing took out something from behind his back.

A bowl of water.

He snuck up behind Heath and poured it on his head.

"Zane Anderson!" Heath screeched and started chasing after Zane.

The second guy was laughing, rolling on the floor.

"Don't you dare laugh, Asher Mills!" Heath shouted and Zane ran out the room, Heath hot on his tail.

"Anyways, Leo breakfast if downstairs when you're ready," Asher said and I nodded, still not understanding what was happening.

Asher left the room, leaving me sitting on the floor.

Leaving me with my thoughts.

This is a dream. That's it. I'll wake up and everything will be back to normal. I'll write my dream down and make a book out of it while getting help from Lilly and Amy.

I got up and looked around.

The room was a little bit bigger than mine but not by a lot. There was a door next to the desk and I walked over to it.

I opened it, revealing a closet. The closet was big and I walked in cautiously, not knowing what to expect.

Nothing. Just clothes and shoes.

"This is a pretty realistic dream," I mumbled to myself.

Before I got dressed I decided to see the other closed door. I walked over to it and opened it quickly.

There was a mirror. A big one...with a man's reflection.

I almost screamed and I closed the door as fast as I could.

"I don't think I like this dream very much," I mumbled to myself.

If this is a dream then I can make myself wake up, right?

I nodded to myself and pinched my arm

"Eina." I hissed and looked around again.

Still here.

I rushed out the room and looked around.

There were a few doors - rooms and bathrooms probably - and a stairwell. I ran down them and saw that the downstairs looked almost exactly like mine. Except a little bigger and a glass-sliding door, leading into a backyard.
