"I just want you to know that you're very special and the only reason I'm telling you this is that I don't know if anyone else has."
Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

I heard the front door open and I rushed down the stairs mumbling, 'Pizza' over and over again.

"Someone's in a better mood," Zane said but I ignored him.

I opened the first one that I saw and saw mushrooms. My face scrunched up and I closed it quickly.

"Leo, the cheese is over here," Heath said, opening a box next to him.

"Pizza!" I exclaimed and dived for it.

"Careful, it's-"

I grabbed the pizza and took a big bite. My eyes widened when my mouth started to burn and I accidentally dropped it. I ran over to the sink and turned it on, drinking as much as I could.

"Hot." Asher finished and I turned the tap off.

"I didn't know!" I sassed and snapped my fingers in a Z.

"Sorry, Mr Attitude," Zane said and they laughed.

Except for me.

I put my chin up, making a 'humph' sound. I grabbed a slice of pizza and looked at Asher.

"What with the face?" He asked and I kept my chin up.

"I was going to give you a nasty look but then I realised that you already have one," I replied and all the boys 'ooh'ed.

"Are we going to have one of these now?" Asher complained and I smirked.

"Are you scared to get beat by a girl?" I asked, hinting that I wasn't Leo but the boys didn't seem to notice.

Boys.

"Of course not!"

I looked around and saw Zane staring at me with a confused look.

Okay, maybe some of them got the hint.

"Listen, I just want to eat my pizza in peace. Can we please do this another time? Like never o'clock?" Heath asked and I snickered.

"You are being spared this time Asher Mills. But you'd better watch your back." I said and took a bite out of my pizza, thankful that it wasn't hot.

"The same goes to you, Leo King."

I chuckled and pondered if I should tell them.

One side of me is saying, Maybe I should, but the other half of me is saying, But what's the fun in telling them?, and I think that I'm gonna go with the second one.

Might as well have some fun while I'm here.

"I'm gonna go for a walk!" I shouted into the house and closed the door behind me.

I was going to open a gate when I heard the door open. I turned around and saw Zane racing over to me.

"Hey, Zane," I said, giving him a grin.

"What did you mean in the kitchen?" He asked, not returning the smile.

My smile dropped and I gave him a confused look.

"Excuse me?"

"You said, 'Are you scared to get beat by a girl'. What was that?"

"I'll talk to you all when I get back from my walk," I said and left.
