TREVORS POV

I was second in line at the coffee shop when i got a call from Bubs the Irish bar here in town. They wanted me to come in ASAP which was weird becaused i applied the other day and didnt even hear anything until now. I told them i could be there in about a half an hour because i still wanted to say goodbye to everyone.

When i arrived at the hotel, Kell and Justin smothered me with hugs so i set down Mac's cappuccino on the counter.

"I'm gonna miss you shitheads like crazy. Where's Macayla?" I realized she hadn't ran out to hug me and i had to get going.

"She's been getting sick-" I interrupted Kellin by pushing him out of the way heading towards the bathroom but he pulled me back, "She's now in the shower."

I looked at the bathroom door with a frown. I wasn't going to get to say goodbye to her. I walked with Kellin back over to the counter and sighed.

"Alright, well you fools make sure she gets her cappuccino. I have to go into work, its my first day so i dont want to be late. Have fun, but not too much fun without me. Love you bros." I pulled them into a man hug/wrestle thing. Truth was, we had all gotten super close. They were the bestfriends that kept me company when i felt alone.

"We love you too man."

"Yeah, we'll be back in no time."

I looked one more time at the bathroom door, faking a smile. But i'm pretty sure Kellin saw me. Then i headed out.

I walked to Bubs for two reasons. 1) i'm far too upset to drive a vehicle and 2) i don't have a car yet. It just really sucks. I just got ditched by Mandy who seemed really sweet other than the fact she was obsessed with her ex, and now Macayla's leaving for almost an entire summer without me even getting to say goodbye.

But i'm just going to have to suck it up. I took a second to clear my mind and then stepped into the bar. My father was a bartender so when i was a kid he taught me how to do everything. I was the ultimate bartender on tour so i figured i'd like to do it as a second job. Bubs is one of those restaurant by day bar/club at night so i knew during the day was going to be slow.

When i was told it was okay to leave, it was already 3:30 in the afternoon. My new boss, Levi, said he was glad to have me because i got the job. I made some small talk with him before i grabbed my things and started walking towards the hotel.

What i didn't mention to all of them before they left was that i wouldn't be able to afford the hotel without them. i probably had about two days before id end up getting kicked out. Even with this new job, it would take me a couple of weeks to be able to pay the bills. I pulled out my phone and saw i had 14 missed calls from Kellin. He only texted me once and told me to call him as soon as possible. What the hell was going on? He picked up the phone after two rings.

"Hey bro."

"Hey, you called..a lot."

"Yeah, i need you to take care of Macayla." What?

"..Why would i have to do that when shes safe on the tour bus with you right now," i said through gritted teeth.

"She didn't come with us. She's sick so she stayed home. I told her she could come join me for the rest of tour once she feels better, but she looks bad, Trev. I'm worried about my girl. I'll feel a lot better knowing you're taking care of her so please. Just until she gets better, then you can send her my way."

This made me upset for some reason. I was going to be the one taking care of Macayla, the one who was going to be there for her, but then as soon as i made her better, Kellin was going to have her.

"Yeah, i'll stop by her apartment now."

"Thanks man, see yah." I hung up.

I was only a couple of blocks away, i could walk there in about fifteen minutes. Maybe this is what we needed. Some time together without Kellin. Or is that wrong?

MACAYLAS POV

This entire day the only things i've done is lay in bed with horrible pains and go to the bathroom to throw up. There was no use trying to eat anything because it wouldn't stay down. I felt hopeless and alone. This might just be it for me. Everything had been too perfect before anyway, and i didn't deserve it. So these must be the consequences.

I heard someone touching the doorknob on my front door. Bastards, it's locked anyway. Then i heard it unlock. The fuck? The door opened and i sat up in my bed.

"Mac." Thank the lord baby jesus.

"Hey Trev." He walked in and sat down on the bed next to me.

"How yah feeling trooper?" I didn't need to lie to him.

"I feel like shit."

"You look like-" i squinted my eyes at him, "really uh-" save yourself Trevor, "pretty."

"Asshole." I ran to the bathroom again, Trevor chasing after me. My throat burned because the only thing i had left to vomit was stomach acid.

"Mac you need to eat something."

"I tried. I can't keep it down."

"Then drink water."

"I'm not thirsty."

"It's not to help the thirst. It's to help get something in your tummy to throw back up that isn't acid." Ugh. He's right.

He went to the kitchen to get me water but came back as quickly as he could. I sat next to the toilet with my back against the bathtub, Trevor sitting down next to me handing me my water.

I took a couple of sips before Trevor asked me, "So I guess were going to have quite some time together now before you plan on leaving me again, eh?" I looked up at him and smiled.

"I guess so."
