HEY UH THIS ISN'T A ONESHOT BUT IT'S ANGST AMASAI STUFF SO IF YOU'RE INTO THAT THEN ENJOY THIS (would recommend listening to Nightcore — Still I Fly if you want the feels i guess)
I also wrote this ages ago and decided to post it because why not ;DSaihara opened up his music on his phone, and clicked on a song; Nightcore - Still I Fly (Switching Vocals).
Listening to the pace and rhythm of the song made him feel peaceful yet emotional. He continued working on his essay for class, as he carefully worked out every lyric of the song.
There's a time, in your life; when the world of on your side.
Saihara suddenly stopped typing, and froze with slightly widened eyes focusing on the singer's voice.
You might not feel it, you might not see it, but it surrounds you like a light, it makes you stronger for the fight..
Saihara's greyish golden eyes immediately flushed with sorrowful tears. He bobbed his head against the table, smashing his fists shaking. The artificial screen of the laptop shined onto him dimly.
Never letting go, gotta learn to grow, watch me as I touch the sky, still I fly..
Thousands of flashbacks flashed back in Saihara's mind.
Now I know it's what I gotta do, find a dream that's new, give it all I got this time, still I fly.
But he couldn't. His one and only love was no longer by his side, to share more memories with him. He was gone. He was never coming back. He was gone forever.
Still I fly..
Everyone in the class started dragging their attention towards Saihara, who was about to turn into a depressing mess. Silent tears fell down on his rosy cheeks as he hid his face behind his dark navy hair.
Feel the wind, all around. All the courage, to be found..
As the music burst loudly in his ears, he denied every lyric as he thought of him more.
Who knows what's out there? I know I'll get there..
But he couldn't. Apart of him will always be unflyable, stuck in the climb. No matter how many times he had tried to forget about it, it never went away.
Oh ooh, all that you deserve. I know I'm not the only one that's..
Saihara knew the chorus was about to play again, and he stood up from his seat before anyone saw him in a mental mess. Rushing out of the classroom, he broke out running down the hallway.
Never letting go, gotta learn to grow, watch me as I touch the sky, still I fly..
All he could see were memories of him. His beautiful smile and rich emerald locks that blew with the wind. Cherry blossoms falling onto him piece by piece, and Saihara only cried out more.
Now I know it's what I gotta do, find a dream that's new, give it all I got this time, still I fly.. Still I fly..
There was no other dream that he ever wanted; to be with him forever. But that dream broke into millions of pieces making his heart scream wildly. If only Saihara had known his love was going to be there.
