Today: Wednesday. Current weather: Very cloudy. Chance of rain: 90%. Reading the small words of your phone, you glanced upon the sky, staring at the angry clouds turn to a relatively dark gloomy grey. It didn't seem like it was going to be a nice bright and shiny day. Looking around yourself, you could already see small splatters of rain hit the concrete. You shut down your phone and dug it into your pocket, beginning to walk back home.

Since it wasn't a far walk, you arrived just in time before the sky started pouring with furious rain. You unlocked the door and took off your shoes, throwing your bag onto the dry wooden floor inside the house. Taking off your jacket, you took the phone out of your jeans and opened up your text messages. You clicked on a contact, and texted:

It's a pretty rainy day today, isn't it?

Looking at the contact name, it said: Amami Rantaro.

Yep, this is definitely the right contact. You and Amami were quite close friends, and would text each other just about every day between 2-5 hours. It was pretty exciting talking to him sometimes. He would talk about interesting but ridiculous topics, but so far you don't recall ever being bored with him. The guy can be pretty funny at times, but he had his flaws so he was annoying too. You hanged your coat up onto the wall, closing the door behind you waiting for Amami's reply. He was typing something. Your eyes were completely locked to the bright screen.

Yea ikr! It's pretty crazy.. are you alright??

Seeing his text, you instantly replied back.

Yep! I'm all safe and sound. How about you? Are you alright?

As you waited for Amami's reply, you walked into your bedroom changing into a pair of comfy soft clothes. Leaving the phone on the bed, you brought your going-out clothes to the laundry, chucking it in the machine. Ring ring. You immediately turned around and rushed out of the room, picking up the phone and falling backwards on the bed. Damn it. It was only an Instagram notification.. Throwing the device back onto the bed, you disappointedly slouched back to the washing, going back to work. Suddenly, you heard another ring. This time, you didn't run back to the bedroom. You finished your job and went back to your bunk, looking at your phone again. Just another stupid notification. I knew it. When is Amami gonna reply back though? You fell onto the bed once again, staring at the white ceiling. Empty. Dull. Sad. You glared out the window, watching the heavy rain get heavier. Sitting yourself up, you decided to see weather's spectacular show for a while, as you waited for another text message to come.

It had been already several minutes later, and you began to worry. God damn it, why isn't he replying back? Is he ignoring me? You clenched your hands as it tightened the phone, feeling tense. Looking at the screen, only notifications that didn't mean anything to you pop up. Only Amami's texts could catch your attention. You felt like texting him again. Opening up the messaging app, you typed in the words:
