She sat high in the bleachers watching the lacrosse team's morning practice. It wasn't something she did often but she liked morning practices a lot more than afternoons, no one showed up in the mornings and she had the stands to herself as she watched the team, more specifically her boyfriend Liam, practice. He looked so alive and happy when he was on the field and it brought her so much joy to see him doing what he loves. Every so often he glances up at her from the field, sending her a wide smile just before making a shot and soon the boys are packing up and making their way into the school. Y/N stands up, hanging around the side lines as she waits for Liam to pack up and head into school. He stops in front of her, wrapping his arms around her, holding her body close to his.
"Ew, you are so gross you smell!" She giggled causing Liam to grin and hold her tighter for a moment before letting go.
"Fine if I can't hug you can I at least get a kiss?" Y/N smiled as she leaned in kissing Liam softly on the lips.
"There, how was that?"
"Amazing as always." Liam gripped Y/N's hand and the pair walked toward the school. "So, what are you doing this weekend?"
"Probably binge watching Pretty Little Liars again, why?"
"Because I made plans for us."
"For the whole weekend?"
"The whole weekend."
"Ooh that sounds intriguing. We've never been away together for a whole weekend, how are we going to manage it?"
"It's going to be great I promise. But that does bring me to my next question, how good are you at lying to your parents?"
"So good that Aria Montgomery would be jealous." Liam thought for a moment trying to match a face to the name.
"That's the short one from Pretty Little Liars right?"
"Yeah, glad you pay attention to the things I like." Liam smiled, slinging his arm over Y/N's shoulder pulling her closer to him before kissing the top of her head.
"It was hard with you in the room but I managed." Y/N smiled, pulling away and taking hold of Liam's hand once again, swinging it slightly between their bodies.
"So do I get to know what these plans are?"
"Nope."
"Will you at least tell me the lie I have to convince my parents of?" The two were now stopped just outside the locker room.
"Tell them that you are going to stay at the lake house with Lydia, last minute decision and you won't be home until after school Monday." Liam leaned in to kiss her forehead.
"Sounds good, see you tonight?"
"Yeah, take my car after school and just come pick me up after practice at six. I already have my bag in the trunk." Liam pulled the keys from his duffel bag, handing them over to her.
"Alright, I'll see you at six." The couple kissed once again before heading in their separate directions to get to classes on time.
The day progressed quickly and soon Y/N was walking back into her house after school.
"Hi sweetheart, how was school." Y/N made her way into her mother's office, giving her a hug around her shoulders from behind.
"Hey Mom, school was fine. How's the book coming?" Her mother moved the glasses off the bridge of her nose and to the top of her head.
"Books great, these characters have so much to say I'm worried I won't be able to get it all down."
"Of course you will, you always do."
