The sun peaked through the curtains as they waved about in front of an open window with the morning breeze. Y/N's head rested on Liam's chest as his fingers soothed up and down her bare back. They had been up less than an hour, both too comfortable to move, or even speak. They had called their friends and family just before midnight the night before to inform them of the news, making plans to meet at the clerk's office to get their license. The phone had been ringing constantly for the last ten minutes, one person after another but neither Liam nor Y/N could be bothered to answer it at that moment. Until their mothers called. Each shooting out of bed to take their respective phone calls, looking at one another as they hung up.

"Well Dunbar, it looks like your one night is up."

"It would seem so."

She pursed her lips and looked up at Liam. "Wanna go at it one more time in the shower?"

"Yes." He stated his eyes wide at the audacity of her question. As if he didn't always want to have sex with her.

"Okay but you've gotta be quick about it we have a 5 hour trip ahead of us, I still have to do my makeup and I want to stop at kmart or something and get us both something nice to wear."

"You have the money for that?" He questioned.

She nodded. "Yeah, I have some. Come on let's go."

"Way to get a guy in the mood." He stated pulling her naked body toward his own.

She giggled "I try."

The shower was quicker than expected and they were out the door within the hour, stopping at a department store, each of them picking out something nice, not showing the other, and heading back out to the car for their long trip.

Several hours of idle chat and excitement later and they were parked beside their friends and family outside the clerk's office. They greeted everyone with hugs before briskly making their way in with the required documents to get their license, coming back out twenty minutes later, smiles on their faces

"I take it everything went well?"Mason asked

Liam nodded and held up a piece of paper. "Yup, have the license right here, we can go anytime." His smile growing wider as he spoke.

"That's wonderful, do you two have everything you need?" Y/N's mother asked.

Y/N thought for a second before nodding. "I think we have everything, we both have something to wear, they provide flowers at the-" Her sentence was cut short by Liam who seemed to be suddenly distressed.

Liam's eyes were wide as saucers at the realization that they were indeed forgetting something. "Oh my god. We don't have rings!" He exclaimed.

Dr. Gayer placed a hand on Liam's shoulder to calm him. "Don't worry about that."

Liam's eyes grew even wider. "Don't worry about that? That's a pretty important part of the wedding!"

This time Y/N's father spoke. "Calm down Liam. We have a gift for the two of you, the four of us." Y/N and Liam both looked at their parents, confused by the statement. "The first part is that we are going to be paying for the wedding." Her father offered.

Then Y/N's mother took a small box out of her purse, handing it to Liam. "The second part is a gift of rings. These are Y/N's grandparent's wedding bands."

"And, finally, I want Y/N to have my original engagement ring from Dr. Gayer here." Liam's mom said taking out a small ring box of her own and held it out to Y/N.

Y/N's mouth hung open and she shook her head. "Oh I couldn't."

Mrs. Gayer smiled and placed the box in Y/N's hands. "I'm not going to miss it, I would be sad if you didn't take it. Besides it will give me a reason to upgrade."
