Liam stood in the hallway, his forehead resting against the door of Y/N's dorm room. She was on the other side, back against the door refusing the let him in no matter how much he tried.

"Will you just let me inside?" Liam pleaded.

"No."

"Please?" He begged.

"Absolutely not."

Liam sighed. "Look, I'm sorry about what happened back there."

Y/N whipped the door open causing Liam to fall forward a bit, catching himself on the door casing. When he looked up at Y/N's anger was clear on her face. "Sorry? You're sorry for humiliating me in front of our friends?" Her tone accusing him of ignorance.

"They're our friends, Mason brought it up first and that's just where the conversation landed. I didn't think it would upset you this much." Liam tried to explain.

Y/N rolled her eyes at her boyfriend. He could be so dim to emotions at times. "You didn't think that telling them about our sex lives, or rather lack thereof, would upset me? Just because they're our friends doesn't mean I want them to know all of our business."

Liam looked at her with sad, desperate eyes hoping she would take pity on him and at least let him into her room. People were starting to peek out of their own dorm to watch their argument. "I'll remember that for next time."

Y/N sighed, the muscles in her shoulders relaxing as she looked away from the young man before her. Her voice was soft now when she spoke. "Liam, listen to me, I am very upset with you. I'm upset with you to the point of I'm not sure I can even look at you right now."

"What can I do?"

"You can leave me alone." She said beginning to shut the door but Liam stuck his foot out to keep it open.

"That's not something I'm willing to do."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Why is that?"

"Because if I leave you alone you'll start to think. You'll think of all the things I could be doing, who I could be with , the places I could be. You'll start to worry that this fight is going to make you lose me. I don't want you to think like that, so I'm not going to give your mind a chance to make it to that place. I'm staying with you until you feel better. Even if it's just in the corner of your room."

Y/N sighed opening up the door. "Fine." Liam smiled softly, stepping lightly into the room.

Liam made himself comfortable on the floor in the corner of her room, picking up one of the textbooks he had left in there earlier that day and working on his homework. Y/N moved to sit on her bed, taking her computer out to finish an essay.

Y/N had a dorm room to herself, she never had to worry about Liam disturbing a roommate with his presence as he was there often, so often that half of his things where in the room, he even had his pillows on her bed. Every so often Y/N would look up from her computer and look at Liam across the room. She was still angry but the more she looked at him the more her heart softened to the situation.

They were quiet for hours, working on their school work and never speaking a word. Until Liam looked up from his book and saw her staring at him with sad eyes before turning back to her computer quickly.

"I fucked up." He started.

She sighed. "I know."

"I'm sorry." He continued.

Again she let out a sigh. "I know."

"I know why you're so upset."

This caused her to pause, looking over to him again. "Is that so?"

"It's because of Hayden."

Shock spread across her face and anger boiled up inside her at the name. "What?"

"It's because Hayden knows now. You're worried you'll lose me to her because she and I had a sexual relationship and you and I don't. I know my saying it won't change anything but, you don't have to worry. I wouldn't leave you for anyone in the entire world. Sex or no sex, history or no history, there isn't a person on this planet I have ever loved or will ever love more than I love you. I know it doesn't take away the anxiety and the worry of me leaving you but if it reassures you for even a moment that I'm not going anywhere, I'll say it every day for the rest of my life."

Y/N's heart softened again. "I love you Liam, and you're right it doesn't take it away or make it stop but when I look in your eyes, I know you mean it. So keep saying it."

Liam smiled at her standing from his spot in the corner and beginning to walk to her. "There isn't a person on this planet I have ever loved or will ever love more than I love you."

"Say it again." She requested as he wrapped his arms around her body.

"There isn't a person on this planet I have ever loved or will ever love more than I love you." He leaned down, pecking her lips.

"Again."

"There isn't a person on this planet I have ever loved or will ever love more than I love you." He kissed her softly again.

"And again."

"There isn't a person on this planet I have ever loved or will ever love more than I love you." He kissed her again, this time deeply. Filling the action with all his love for her. When he pulled away they were breathless. He rested his forehead against her own, smiling at her. "Can I get in the bed now? The floor is hard on my ass."

Y/N giggled and nodded. "Yeah, come cuddle me. I need it." Y/N laid down on her side Liam laying down behind her and wrapping his arms around her.

"Oh? Why is that?" He chuckled.

"My boyfriend is an asshole." She stated.

"Yes he is, but he loves you." He said, kissing her cheek.

Y/N turned around in his arms to face him. "Yeah, I love him too."
