Chapter 1
Kenley: Today I'm suppose to go talk to Luke, yeah the Luke Bryan about becoming his nanny not just babysitter.Only if he was single... Kenley, snap out of it. It's about ten o'clock and I'm suppose to meet him at Starbucks at ten thirty. I hop in my truck and turn on the radio. A few minutes later I pulled into the parking lot. I got out and grabbed my purse. I started walking to the cafe when I saw a truck with a license plate reading: BOTATEB. Yep must be Luke. I ran in and walked over to the counter. I ordered a peppermint hot chocolate and waited till they called my name. Luke came in and walked over to the register and before I could put my money on the counter he threw money up and said, "Ma'm that's for the both of us." "Luke are you sure?" "Yep darlin, that's your first paycheck. I'm just kiddin you'll get a little more for playin with the boys." He is just so attractive. With that southern accent, and those brown eyes. Ugg...snap out of it Kenley. "Thanks Luke." "Anytime." He grabbed his drink and we sat down. His phone buzzed. "Dammit Caroline. Whoops! I'm sorry." He blushed then continued. "I'm sorry she's just got me worked up lately." "It's okay I understand."
Luke: "So Kenley do have any experience as a nanny? Oh nevermind that sounded really stupid." "No it's okay. I've been a nanny for like five years for small town celebrities." We both started giggling. Man she had the prettiest smile. I could've kissed her or married her... OH MY GOD! Luke snap out of it. "So I gotta go You have my number right,so I can text you when we need ya." She blushed. "Yep." I left and walked Kenley to her truck then back to mine. When I got buckled in Caroline called me. "Hello?" "Hey cowboy. Ya got plans later?" "Nope." "I say we have that new girl babysit the boys and me and you do some much needed lovin." "Nope." "But Lukey..." "Nope. You signed the divorce papers just like me." "Lukey..." "Nope not gonna deal with it." And I hung up. There is no way I'm gonna let her keep doin this to me. I mean when we first got married we actually loved each other but now after the boys it's not worth it. Maybe I should ask Kenley if we could have a play date. Not me and her, but we would be there. For the boys, they should get to know her even better before I just drop them off.
