we are all broken glass
that was discarded by the street side
in hopes that someone else
would pick it upbut no one wants to get cut
so they walk far away from where we lay
our glass bones shattered,
our translucent hearts brokenignored and forgotten,
we lay as waste
as cars drive over us
and people ignore our existencebut we're too jagged
to cry out for help
so we lay by the street side
as discarded broken glass
