"So you killed her?" Stiles asked Scott as he held the front door to the school open for me.
"I don't know, I just woke up. I was sweating like crazy and I couldn't breath. I've never had a dream where I woke up like that before." Scott shrugged.
"Really? I have." Stiles admitted.
"Usually ends a little differently though." I added.
"A, I meant I've never a had a dream that felt that real and B, never give me that much detail about you in bed." Scott sounded a little scarred.
"Noted." Stiles said nodding his head.
"Let me take a guess." I started.
"I know, you guys think it has something to do with me going out with Allison. Like I'm gonna lose control and rip her throat out. " Scott sighed.
"No. Of course not." Stiles reassured him. Scott had a surprised expression.
"Yeah that's totally it." Stiles admitted. Scott didn't say anything. "Hey c'mon, it's gonna be fine alright? Personally I think you're handling this pretty fricken amazingly."
"Yeah, it's not like there's a lycanthropy for beginners class." I joked.
"Not a class. But maybe a teacher." Scott said.
"Derek!?" Stiles whacked Scott in the back of the head. "Did you forget the part where we got him tossed in jail?!"
"Ow!" Scott exclaimed. "It's just, scratching her... dragging her to the back of the bus. It seemed so real...." Scott said calmly.
"How real?" I asked.
"Like it actually happened." Scott admitted.
We walked out the back of the building where all the buses were parked. Stiles stopped dead in my path and I knocked into him, falling to the ground.
"What is it?" I asked looking up at the backs of their heads. No one said anything. I peeked around Stiles's legs and saw what they were staring at.
One of the buses in the lot was covered in blood and scratch marks. The back door was bent and almost broken off the hinges, and the entire place smelt just like a wolf.
"I think it did." Stiles said breaking the silence we had created.
Scott ran inside and started texting and calling Allison on his phone. Stiles and I looked back and forth at each other for a minute before running after Scott. "She's probably fine." Stiles said when we caught up.
"She's not answering my texts." Scott hurried.
"It could just be a coincidence." I said, trying to calm him down.
"A seriously amazing coincidence." Stiles mumbled. I hit him lightly on the shoulder and he shut up.
"Just help me find her okay?" Scott asked. His heart was beating really fast and he was looking in every direction at once. He looked like his breaths were shortening and I knew he was about to shift.
"Scott. Calm down. We're going to find her alright." I whispered trying to calm him down.
Scott slammed into a locker and started breathing heavy. His eyes started to glow and he let out a growl, punching a huge dent into a locker. Then he stepped back and started breathing normally again. Stiles and I watched from around the corner as he walked backward away from the locker and ran into Allison causing her books to fall to the ground.
Stiles and I walked to our side-by-side lockers and got our stuff for class. The principal came over the loud speaker and announced that though the police were trying to determine what the hell happened outside classes would still go on as usual and this news was greeted with a typical amount of groans from the students walking in the halls.
