I almost ran face first into a tree when I heard the scream. It was earsplitting loud and didn't sound very far off either. It only took me a moment to recognize Scott's voice. I considered finding him but decided against it and ran off in the other direction.

I followed Derek's scent to my best ability for another hour before I decided to go look for Scott. I took a few last sniffs around the forest, just to be sure. Nothing. Then I was off.

I found him in the animal clinic. He was sat on the ground in the corner, breathing heavily with tears in his eyes.

"Scott!" I yelled as I ran in. He looked up with a confused expression but he didn't say anything. "We have to go, like now!" I walked over and pulled him off the ground.

"What's wrong?" He asked with a soft voice.

"Lydia's hurt. Peter got her, she might be dead. Now Peter has Stiles and we need to find Derek before they do. Plus from the looks of it you're upset and need to get your mind off of whatever dumb girl drama you got yourself into with hunter chick." I explained quickly, barely stopping to breathe.

"She knows." Scott said blankly, not looking me in the eye.

"What? What does who know?"

"Allison, werewolf. She knows about me. We were..... we were on the bus and her...... her dad was in a car...... they cornered me.....They drove, I jumped and I turned.......she knows."

"Okay no offence, but that is soooo not the worst thing that's happened tonight. Bright side, Jackson's got Lydia and she's safe but might not make it. Down side, Peter has Stiles and they're looking for Derek, you and I should be looking for Derek but for some reason we're still here, and on top of all that the hunters know that you're the beta and they're all out looking for you. So let's go." I pulled his wrist and we ran out of the clinic.

Right as we walked out the door Scott's body went tense.

"What?" I asked. He looked around and I heard it too. A howl. A howl from a wolf. A werewolf.

"C'mon." This time Scott grabbed my wrist and was pulling me back into the forest.

******************************

Scott took me to the top of a cliff in the forest over-looking the town. There was a long boulder that was pointed upwards and was connected to the very edge of the cliff so it hung off the edge a bit. Scott crawled up and grasped the end, his hands growing claws and his eyes starting to glow. Then, with his fangs grown out, he let out a howl louder then he'd screamed earlier. It was one of those times I wish I could tell him how proud of him I was without letting it out that I was like him. But I couldn't do that, not yet anyway.

Scott backed off of the rock and stood next to me. We looked out over the buildings and the houses, the lights of the town glowing like nothing was wrong. From a glimpse it was a picture perfect town, even at night. It wasn't until you took a closer look that you noticed that all the myths and the legends weren't stores anymore.

After a moment Scott turned away, obviously giving up the chance of a reply. And it was then when I realized his intentions. A werewolf howls to signal it's location to the rest of the pack. He was trying to get a howl back from Derek, and as Scott was walking back through the trees, a howl was exactly what he got. We both looked at each other and smiled.

"How fast can you run?" He asked with a smirk.

"I can keep up." I said back and I started running before he could say another word.

We ran from one edge of the forest all the way to the other where we both stopped cold in front of none other than the Hale house.

"I am the biggest idiot in the whole world." I exclaimed. "I've been looking for him all night!" Scott didn't say anything back. He just took my hand and we approached the house. Scott walked around a bit surveying the house trying to figure out where he could be hidden.
