Sky's P.O.V

I calmly sat down at the top bleacher, in the field and watched Ruben and Blake practicing soccer. It currently has been three days since the ceremony and ever since then, I haven't seen Liam much and I was thankful for that. Whenever I see him, things just turn complicated.

This was relaxing, being outside of the pack house without being disturbed.

Ruben noticed me and waved at me cheerfully, causing me to smile and give a short wave back.

The wind hit my face and my eyes traveled to the cloudy sky, it was going to rain soon.

My eyes then traveled from the sky to the very few people that were sitting in the bleachers, chatting with their friends, but what caught my eyes was a small girl, probably no more than four years old.

Her blonde hair in two braids, while both of her small hands grabbed a juice box. She looked so cute. But what was she doing here alone?

I stand up and quietly made my way to the lower bleacher, where the small girl was sitting.

Finally, near her, I sat beside the girl, who moved her large doe-like eyes from the field towards me.

"Hellwo." She said, her words not coming out properly. As soon as the words left the young girl's mouth, my face lit up.

"Hi." I said looking at her.

"My name is Annabwel." She said and I looked at her, smiling.

"Well hello, Annabel. My name is Sky." I replied, extending my hand and gently shaking the small hand that fell into mine.

"So why are you sitting here alone?" I asked looking at her.

"My bwig bwother is busy, so his friends picked me up so I can watch them play till he comes." Annabel said and sucks at the straw, drawing out the juice.

"Oh. So where are your friends?" I asked her and she folded her arms, making a grumpy face.

"Thwey don't like me because thwey are scawed of my big bwother. " She said slightly pouting, causing me to look at her with sympathy.

"Well, I can be your friend." I said and the little girl's face lights up and she jumped into my arms hugging me, causing me to laugh.

Children always brought me happiness. I don't know why but they just always had the biggest place in my heart.

"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked her and she thinks over it and nodded her head.

"Ice cweam." She said happily and I nodded, remembering I had heard an ice cream man here somewhere.

"Okay. You stay here and play games on my phone while I go get you your ice cream. Alright?" I asked and Anna nods.

I hand her my cell phone and grabbed my wallet.

I made my way away from the field and across the parking lot, just as the clouds roared and the wind hits my face, as I approached the ice cream man.

I quickly purchased the ice cream and placed the napkin underneath the huge cone of ice cream, I had gotten for that darling girl.

I made my way to the bleachers and back to Anna who had her tongue out as she concentrated on the game.

"Here you go." I said and got Anna's attention.
