- Riker's POV -
I had to go for a walk and miss breakfast this morning. I couldn't face Abs. It would've been awkward, wouldn't it?
So being the coward I am, I had to skip breakfast to think things through.
Did the kiss mean anything to her?
Are we a couple now?
What's the deal now?
As I approach the bus, I take in a deep breathe, and knock on the door. I can't open the door from the outside. A wait a few seconds until Abs opens it.
Should I stop calling her that?
I don't know.
I think I should.
"Hi." Abby says shyly.
Abby's never shy. What's got into her?
"Hey, we need to talk." I say.
"I know."
- Abigail's POV -
"Hey, we need to talk." Riker says while walking into the bus.
"I know." I reply.
We both go and sit down on the sofa. No one else is in here at the moment.
"So," Riker starts, "We kissed."
"Well done Captain Obvious!" I sarcastically say.
He giggles, "Um, well, I was wondering if you want to go out and see a movie sometime.." He asks. Aww he's blushing. How cute!
"Are you asking me on a date Mr Lynch?" I jokily ask him.
"Why yes, yes I am! And is your answer yes?"
"Yes!" I say then give him a hug, he hugs back.
Is it weird that it feels so perfect?
Just being in his arms.
One word. Amazing.
