Chapter 11 | The First Date

- Abigail's POV -

Shades and I are in the movie theatre at the moment and it just can't get anymore perfect.

We're watching 'Frozen' which looks like a great film. We're sharing popcorn.

I sigh happily, "So, where are we going for the meal after the movie?" I ask.

"I actually have a surprise for you after the movie." He says, smiling uncontrollably.

Cute!

"Aww! Can't wait!" I say.

"Shh! The movies starting!" A young boy behind us says.

We laugh.

- After The Movie -

"That. Was. Amazing!" I say while we're walking out the theatre hand in hand.

"Yeah, it was, wasn't it?"

I nod.

"Soo," I start, "What's my surprise?"

"It's a surprise!" He winks.

"Oh come on Shades!" I huff and puff.

"You still calling me that are you, Abs?"

I sigh heavily.

We both laugh.

We walk down a street for a while and then we approach a park. There's fairy light hanging from tree to tree all the way down to a pretty little stream.

"Our dinner awaits!" Shades says.

I turn to him to see a picnic blanket on the floor with a picnic basket on top.

I sit down and have a look in the basket.

Sandwiches.

Grapes.

Chocolate.

Sweets.

Strawberries dipped in chocolate.

Yum!

Could this get anymore perfect?

Once we had eaten all we can eat; we stare into each others eyes, then I look down to his lips.

They look so kissable.

And then before I knew it we were kissing.

I ran my hand through his hair and he did the same to my hair.

It went on for what felt like ages.

This date can only be describe in one word.

Perfect.
