Chapter 24(Part One)

Skye's POV
"Okay I know you're upset but I'm depressed just watching you. Get up." Connor stood up, extending a hand out to me. I took it, and he pulled me up.

"Okay. Screw Luke. If he really thinks you'd cheat, then he doesn't deserve you." Ali said. I twisted my hair nervously.

"Ok now, we are going to get some food because you look like you need some." Connor said. I nodded and went into the bathroom, changing.

We walked out the dorm and were bombarded by paparazzi.

Luke's POV
"Well look at that he lives." Ashton said. Calum elbowed him.

"Hey Luke we're really sorry about Skye. I know it's hard." I nodded, and flopped down on the couch. The boys followed me. I turned on the tv. It was one of those celebrity gossip shows. I was about to change it.

"Looks like 5 Second's of Summer's Luke Hemmings and his girlfriend Skye Hunter have split." The lady says. The boys all look at me but I just look at the tv. It flashed to a dorm room door. It opened and Skye, Ali, and that Connor dude came out. Her eyes widened when she saw the paparazzi and cameras.

"Skye! Is it true that you and Luke have called it quits?" The lady from before shouted, thrusting a microphone in front of her face. The camera zoomed in. I saw her red eyes. She'd been crying.

"Uh yes." She said, hesitating. I leaned forward.

"Is there anything you'd like to say about him?" The lady asked. Skye was quiet for a minute.

"Honestly I'm sorry we broke up, but Luke's a great guy and he'll find a great girl for him. Um I hope that his band does well and um no hard feelings honestly. He deserves someone great." Tears were welling up in her eyes.

"Excuse me." She pushed through the crowd with her friends following her."

"Well you heard it from here folks. Tune in later for the latest gossip." The show ended. I looked down at my hands.

"Luke..." Ashton said. I stood up and stalked to my room, slamming the door behind me.

Skye's POV
My phone rang. My dad.

"Hey dad." I said. He and I had sort of gotten over that awkward stage. He said he knew it was wrong and I didn't want to lose him.

"Hey honey. So you're still coming tonight right?" Tonight.... What's Tonight?

"You know the party? The release one for the EP?" Oh yeah. It would be fun except that Luke will be there.

"Oh umm.. Sure I guess." I said. He thanked me, and told me they'd pick me up at 8. It was 7:00. I went into my closet and grabbed a navy blue dress. put it on. Then I went into my bathroom, and put on some eyeliner and concealer. I put on a bit of mascara and then some gold strappy heels. I curled my hair, and then I was finished.

My phone buzzed with a text from my dad. They were here. I grabbed a gold clutch and went downstairs. A black Range Rover was waiting. I opened the door and sat in the free seat right next to...Luke. Of course.

"Hey guys." I said. They all nodded at me except for Luke, who looked at me for a minute. I looked back at him. I flashed back to when we first met. He was so shy and adorable. He still is. I buckled my seat belt and looked out the window.

"Hey honey." I smile at my dad, and then looked back out.

I was leaning on the door, waiting in the car with everyone. Suddenly someone opened the door. I lost my balance and almost fell out of the car, but someone grabbed my waist and pulled me back. I turned and my eyes met bright blue ones. Luke let go of my waist.

"Um thanks." I said my face flushing. He scratched the back of his neck.

"No problem." He said quietly. I saw all the boys watching and got out of the car.

"So sorry Ms. Hunter." I nodded and smiled, then rushed in.
