Chapter 18

Skye's POV
"Let go of me." I said as my father grabbed my arm.

"Okay. I loved your mother. More than anything. I made a mistake that I'll never forgive myself for. She knew but she stayed with me for you. Please don't hate me."I shook my head.

"No dad, I don't think I can." He opened his mouth to say something,but closed it.

"Skye maybe we should just talk." Luke said. I shook my head and pushed past him.

"No we shouldn't. My dad deserves every bad thing he gets okay? a Don't defend him, god."

"Well we wouldn't be having this fight if you would calm down." Luke said, looking a little angry.

"Oh okay so you're taking his side?" The other boys started to move away.

"No I'm just saying that you could be a little less......." He trailed off.

"What? Bitchy? Is that what your trying to say? Thanks a lot." I snapped, slamming the door. I went a little way down the hall waiting for the elevator.

It finally opened and I got in the empty elevator., pushing the lobby button. Hard. The door was about to close, when someone pushed it open. Luke. He pushed the close button.

"We need to talk." He said, leaning against the other wall.

"Yeah no shit." He chuckled.

"You're cute when you're mad." I shook my head.

"That's not going to work this time."
He raised an eyebrow.

"Looks like it's working pretty well to me, by the way, you're
blushing." He moved closer, until he was right in front of me. He leaned on his arm which he placed on the wall above my head. His face was only an inch away from mine.

"Am not." I said, smiling a little.

"Are too." He said playfully, before kissing me. It had only been a few seconds before the elevator dinged, and the doors opened, revealing and old 80 something woman.

"The pancakes are downstairs missus." Luke raised his eyebrows.

"Ma'am are you okay?" he said, as the old lady put her head on his shoulder, and stroked his cheek.

"Bertie will you be my valentine?" She asked, her eyes closed. I snapped a picture and uploaded it to twitter.

@SkylarHunt: Looks like @Luke5SOS is cheating on me 😏.

Luke's phone buzzed, and he typed something into it.

@Luke5SOS: Aww don't worry babe you're a better cuddle buddy 😘.

I laughed, as the older lady stumbled into her apartment.

"She was a better height for me, shortie." Luke said smiling.

"Shut up, Sasquatch." He mocked hurt, then shock before we continued to tease each other, back to my flat.
