Forgotten and Lost In Blood Red Eyes

Chapter 7

"So you're finally awake." I heard Aki's gentle sweet voice echoing in my ear.

"Huh?" I sat up quickly my eyes darting around the room.

"You're alright, no one is going to hurt you." he rested a hand in my shoulder, it was warm unlike Kazuhiro's.

"Hey who's the girl?" A slender beautiful man walked into the room. he wore all white and had long black hair.

"I-I'm Minori and I am a man." I smiled kindly and the man got closer. His white wings were glimmering and beautiful.

"My name is Haru." he didn't smile as he introduced himself. He seemed indifferent but when I looked into his

eyes he seemed interested.

"So Aki, where was he?" Haru asked.

"He was with the Vampires." Aki shuddered and then composed himself.

"Oh?" Haru sauntered over to me and put his hand under my chin. "What did you do with them?" his grin was somewhat terrifying.

"I don't know what you mean." I answered honestly. I felt my heart palpitating in my chest, I felt as though it might've just leapt out of my throat.

"Did you let them drink your blood?" He grasped my chin harder and I winced. "You're lucky you have her soul." he let go of me and I rubbed my jaw.

"Are you talking about Asami?" I questioned.

"Who else would I be talking about?" he walked away angrily.

"Everyone knows Asami, but me." I sighed.

"Asami was the only mortal Haru fell in love with. She saved everyone from their stone cold hearts. Asami was sacred, she was pure inside and out." Aki sighed wistfully.

"So Asami was very important?"

"Very important, she kept the balance and now that we found her reincarnate the balance can be restored." Aki got up and smiled. "You're a different person than her though."

I reach out my hand and he pulls me up off my feet. He takes me to a garden outside.

"It's so beautiful." I saw gorgeous flowers even though it was autumn.

"I've been told I have a green thumb." Aki rubbed his neck laughing, I giggled.

"You're such a good guy, much different than Haru acted. But I'm sure Haru is a good guy, he kind of reminds me of Daisuke." I giggled and Aki looked at me quizzically.

"Who is Daisuke?" I smiled and felt myself get excited.

"Well Daisuke is one of the Vampires I stayed with." Aki's face grew concerned.

"Did they suck your blood?" He enveloped me in his arms. I pushed him away.

"No they didn't. But why are you all asking that?" Aki's face grew dark.

"After they suck your blood you lose a piece of your soul. Each time you lose a piece you become more and more impure." Aki analyzed my arms, my neck and my back carefully and thoroughly.

"Aki! Stop it. I told you the truth." I sighed in relief as his search ended.

"I was just making sure. I know you wouldn't lie but maybe they bit you and you didn't know it." We had been out for hours when we heard a voice.

"Aki, I've been looking for you!" A beautiful woman sprinted over to us.

"Aoi? What happened to the rest of the group?"

"They got captured." Aoi grimaced, she looked like she failed everyone.

"It's ok Aoi." Aki smiled sweetly and propelled himself into the air.

"Where are you going Aki?" I said reaching up.

"I'm going to get them back." Aki flew away.

"Wait take me with you!" Aki flew faster.

"Why do you want to go to that filthy kingdom?" Aoi looked at me quizzically.

"Because I love it there, and I owe Kazuhiro my life." I smiled bitterly knowing when I got back he'd probably see me as Asami,but at least he would treasure me.

"Well since purity has left you," she puts a cloth over my mouth and nose. "We'll have to re-purify you." Everything went dark.
