I laid staring absent minded at the ceiling.

"Father and Akihiko, you are both long gone but, it seems like you were both at home just yesterday. Alive and Mother was happy. But she stopped smiling altogether after you died Akihiko."My older brother had passed away along with my father.

My older brother protected me after Father passed. Mother got worse after Father's passing, she became more hostile and my brother protected me.

Until he fell ill and passed away.

"Minori-chan."Ai walked in.

"Well hello Ai." I smiled happily at her.

"Minori-chan I can't sleep." she held a teddy bear in one hand and a blanket in the other. I sighed and patted the bed.

"Well I can't see any harm." She climbs into the bed with me.

"But you're a boy Minori-chan."

"Don't worry you're not in any danger."

Ai smiled at me as she cuddled up to me.

"Rest now." I patted her head but she was already fast asleep. I giggled and fell soundly asleep right after.

"What are you doing?" Yoko shuffled into the room and I smiled.

"Good morning Yoko." I replied and Ai stirred and I put a finger to my lips. I slipped out of bed and Yoko led me downstairs.

"Big Brother Kazuhiro is waiting downstairs along with Father." Yoko kept the same blank expression on her face as yesterday.

"Is your father the king?" I inquired.

"Yes, he is. Be very wary when you meet him he can be very aggressive at first." My jaw dropped and Yoko continued walking ahead of me. She knocked upon a giant set of wooden doors. "Father it is me Yoko, I have our guest."

"Come in!" A booming voice rung throughout the hall. Yoko opened the doors with grace. A man with short blonde hair, he looked so young. I bowed and he chuckled.

"This young woman is our guest?" A man with beautiful green eyes and beautiful blonde hair said.

"U-um I'm a man." I replied disappointedly.

"No way!" a younger looking boy runs to me.

"I am a man." I sighed, everyone had continually called me a woman.

"Wow you are quite a beautiful man." the king replied and I vowed deeply.

"Thank you Your Majesty." I heard him chuckle and blushed. I noticed that Kazuhiro was standing beside Yoko in the door way behind me.

"Call me Yoshihiro." the king had a pleasant smile on his face.

"I'm Daisuke." the man with blonde hair said.

"And I am Satoru." the boy giggled.

"I'm Minori." I bowed again. Ai shuffled into the room rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning everyone." She yawned. I squatted down in front of her and she smiled.

"Did you sleep well?"

"I did, thank you Minori-chan." She tiredly wrapped her arms around my waist.

Everyone stared at us and I smiled.

"She is usually more cautious towards strangers." Kazuhiro's ruby eyes glimmered. Satoru ran over to him and smiled wide.

"Kazuhiro what will we do today?" Kazuhiro smiled at Satoru and whispered something into his ear.

"Really?!" Satoru seemed excited and Kazuhiro put a finger to his lips, Satoru mimicked him.

"Daisuke, will you please escort Minori back to his room?" Yoshihiro demanded. Daisuke nodded and led me back up some stairs.

"This is where you will be staying until you are fully healed. Since you are only human it'll be a while." I looked down to the floor it felt like he meant it to be an insult.

"I'm sorry to cause everyone so much trouble." I felt a gentle touch on my shoulder from behind. I turned to see Kazuhiro smiling happily.

"You're not troubling us." He was so gentle and his voice held joy as he spoke to me.

"Kazuhiro you should've never brought him here." Daisuke walked out of the room.

"He seemed angry, I should leave." I tried to walk away from Kazuhiro but he grasped my shoulder tightly.

"You are injured still look." He pulled up my shirt to show me the bandages.

"But..." Kazuhiro just put a finger to his lips.

"You need rest so please don't fight with me. I would like you to stay since it was my fault that vile woman caught up to you." He shuddered at the thought.

"No it wasn't and besides that woman was my mother. And she had a good reason to beat me." I tried to muster up a smile. I really do believe that I deserved punishment because I couldn't be like my brother.

"There is never a good reason to beat flesh and blood or your child." Kazuhiro looked painfully into my eyes. It was like he could see right through me, through into the parts of me that even I hadn't uncovered. The room started spinning and I felt woozy all of a sudden.

"I'm kind of..." I trailed off and very thing went black
