Forgotten and Lost In Blood Red Eyes

Chapter 13

I woke up still spooning with my lover. He looked so cute while he slept, it's funny how that was the first time I saw him look so peaceful since the day I met him.

"Minori..." he murmured in his sleep. Kazuhiro stirred and gripped me tighter. It sounded distressed like he was having a bad dream. His eyes opened fast and he was breathing hard.

"Calm down. You are alright." I held him closer.

"You're safe." He was panicked almost in a frenzy. I could see tears welling up in those ruby eyes of his. I cupped his head in my hands and kissed him.

"I am real. Don't worry I am here." I stroke his cheek gently. He holds my hand there and closes his eyes.

"I thought... I don't what I would've done if I hadn't found you." His lower lip quivered and I stroked his hair gently. He got on top of me and ran his hands down my body. Somehow my body knew what he was searching for.

"Nothing happened you checked yesterday." my face felt hot and my insides felt even hotter.

"I didn't check thoroughly enough." He slowly kissed his way down my body leaving marks. My breathing hitched and I was craving him inside me. Slowly his hands glided down my body unbuttoning my pants.

"Don't be gentle." I whispered into his ear. He bit the nape of my neck drawing blood. I shuddered and watched as I my hot blood slowly made its way down my chest.

"I'll lick you clean." I feel his hot tongue descended down my body. I was starting to lose myself when the door to the bedroom flew open.

"Good morn-" Akihito saw what he was interrupting and scowled. He tore me from Kazuhiro's grasped. He gently patted my hair and I laughed.

"Good morning Akihito." I chuckled lightly under my breath.

"Don't good morning me. I wanted to be the first one to devour you today." I held my breath as an ominous feeling filled the room. The source was coming from Kazuhiro.

"Um Akihito can you sense that?" He slowly released me from his grasp and the both of them clashed.

"So you think you can just rip Minori from my arms and think everything will be all good?!" Akihito chuckled and patted my head as he left.

"I'm not going to fight you in front of Minori, but you can't keep him to yourself forever." He closed the door with an evil grin on his face.

"I guess this is our cue to go down to breakfast." I forced myself to laugh but Kazuhiro was radiating a gloomy aura.

"Minori... Akihito is right. I can't keep you to myself forever..." he cupped his face in his hands. I walked over to him and kissed his hand.

"You will have me till the day I die." I hugged him and I knew what he meant. He thought that it would be a replay of Asami's death. He thought the same process was going to happen.

"But..." I put a finger to his lips as he took a sharp inhale.

"No buts. I will never leave you, only in death." I grasped his hands and held them. "Let's join the others for a brighter morning." I dragged him down the stone stairs with a hop in my step.

"Good morning Minori!" Ai jump hugged me as I entered the dining area.

"Good morning Ai." I held her in my arms tight. She wiggled free and ran to her seat.

"Morning." Akihito came in for a hug but Kazuhiro growled at him and he scampered back to his seat at the table.

"Good morning, you have a faint glow." Daisuke stared at me gently caressing my face.

"Daisuke..." A low rumbling in Kazuhiro's voice caused the room to go quiet.

"Calm down Brother." Yoko entered the room rubbing her eyes. AI and Satoru jumped up to greet her. Ai and Satoru giggled as they hugged her. Daisuke looked away from me and went to his seat.

"Welcome to breakfast everyone!" Yoshihiro entered the room as flamboyant as ever. Everyone seemed distant and weary of something.

"As you all must know Minori is no longer pure physically..." Everyone looked Kazuhiro's and I's direction. I held his hand secretly under the table.

"So watch out for signs of weakness in his soul..." Yoko showed sadness for a moment and quickly reverted to a blank expression.

"Correct. Let's hope for the best." Ai looked pained along with the rest of them. I felt Kazuhiro squeeze my hand tighter. He smiled to me, but I knew he was more worried than anyone else.

We scarfed down our breakfast and I headed outside to the vast backyard. There was a field of white flowers that seemed so pure and untainted by the world. I took the younger children and played with them amongst the flowers. Ai stopped for a moment staring at the ground.

"What's wrong Ai?" I put a hand on her shoulder and she hugged me. Then let go just as quickly and ran away from me laughing. Yoko popped her head out and she ran from me too. I started to chase Satoru and I tagged him. The sun started to set and the children's fangs began to turn red and their eyes gleamed the same ruby color.

"Come inside you guys!!!" We all went inside and saw the table set with a bucket of blood.

"What is going on?!" I stared at it trying to make sense of it all.

"We feast at once a month satisfy our blood lust. Night is when we sleep so we eat enough to last us through the coming day." Yoshihiro explained and I ran up the stone steps to my bedroom. I saw the stains me and Kazuhiro made together the previous night and blushed.

"I do love him." I snuggled with sheets amd an intense pain shot through my skull. I whimpered and held my head between my hands squishing them together against my head.

"Minori!" Aki busted through the window beside the bed.

"Aki?" He took me in his arms and held me.

"I heard Asami call for help and I knew you were in danger." He noticed me holding the sheets and pulled them out of my hands.

"Aki why did you do that?" He pit a finger to my lips and held a hand above my head.

"Just as I had suspected... Your soul is involuntarily rejecting your body now."
