"Minori. Wake up!" It was Aki's voice.

"A-Aki?" I murmured. I opened my eyes and I was back in the forest.

"Minori." he held me to his body. I thought 'this can't be I was just at home.'

"Wasn't I just at home!?" I panicked, I didn't know where I was anymore.

"Calm down you were dreaming." I felt anguish. Then what I had just dreamt was a lie. My dreams were crushed. I thought that I had just spent the night in the arms of my love.

"Is Aoi dead?" Aki nodded.

"I don't know what happened to her. I found her with scissors in her hands." he looked away I had seen the tears building up.

"Was she really precious to you?" I asked, to this day I regret asking that question.

"She was my lover at one point. We split apart after I met Asami. We were good friends, still I fell in love with Asami. But Aoi still loved me and took care of me." I felt guilt and longing and for some, unknown, inexplicable reason a sense of doom.

"Aki." I held him in my arms and he cried himself to sleep. I laid him down on my lap and sang a song to him from my childhood. My tears had begun before I could utter the first word of the song. I decided it wasn't a good idea and combed my fingers through his hair.

"Asami." he whispered almost inaudibly. Why did everyone love her, and think of me as a replacement. My tears plopped onto Aki's face and then as if to cover up my tears rain began to fall. Aki woke up quickly and ran to nearby cover, he tried to bring me with him but I just sat in the rain staring at the sky.

"Why?" I said quietly and when he was far enough away I let out my sobs, as the water soaked my body, cleansing me somewhat. As my wails of anguish got louder thunder and lighting began, streaking the sky with purple and white streaks.

"Minori." Aki seemed so distant that I could barely hear him. Thunder boomed overhead slow but loud. Like my heartbeat, my chest hurt and all I could about was Kazuhiro and Yoshihiro and Ai, Yoko, Daisuke, and last but not least Akihito.

"Minori!" In a flash lightning my eyes caught the glimpse of that man, the man I'd been searching for.
