Zane's POV

The docks were in shambles by the time I was off it. It always felt good to have infinite power, since Garroth had left O'khasis.
I was just here. That baby, the woman with red hair, Aphmau, my brother. Blech. I hated this dump. But I was in and out. Maybe that dumb aphmau or even dumber brother of mine wouldn't even notice me. I was here for the girl, and nothing else. I would rip her torso open and take Enkis relic for myself, soon to be added with Irene's. Stupid Loki Ramirez thought she could lose me. Well, I'm about to prove how wrong she was.
I began to walk up the stairs, when I was tackled by garroth..
"You idiots had the nerve to come back!? You have ten seconds to leave before these stairs are painted red with your blood."
"Garroth, my brother. Do you know you have a fugitive in Pheonix Drop? She could destroy this entire village. Her power-"
"You think I give a damn? Pheonix Drop is a place for refuges. I don't care if it ranges from old man to Infant to twelve year old girl, apparently with a power. Get. Out. Zane, you are not welcomed here."
"Heh. You could be making a pretty big mistake, Garroth."
"You could be dead in a few minutes if you don't start talking."
I saw the girl and a few others run out.
I wasn't about to let Loki get away.
As I drew my sword, a guard knocked my dopey brother off me.
"No! You can't have her!" He shouted from under the guard.
"Well really? Then I guess it's a miracle! Cause I'm about to take her!"
"Zane... she's not an object..."
"You think I care." I chuckled. I stopped.
''And watching you squirm helplessly, is the funniest thing ever."
Loki's POV

After Garroth tackled him, we began to run, to somewhere I don't even know. But if it would protect these people, and nobody would get hurt, I would even jump off a cliff. Zane couldn't have tracked me down THAT fast. It had sure been 3 years since I saw his horrendous face, but I just got here. It hasn't even been two days.
"How is he here!"
"Katelyn! You're a jury member, ,maybe he came for you!" Dante shouted
"Uh, no. He literally is shouting 'find the girl. I won't stop til Loki Ramirez is in my hands.'
"Oh. That proves me wrong."
"Yeah. He's he's here for me."
"It's not your fault." Aphmau assured me. "The treehouse?"
" Yeah, we sh-WHERES LOKI?!" Katelyn shouted.
I could here her in the distance.
I ran.

Once I got back to the steps, a scene played out, and began to unfold.
Garroth was trapped under a guard much bigger than him, with a sword to his neck.
Zane laughed maniacally, deep in conversation with his brother.
"Zane... she's not an object..." Garroth reasoned.
Luckily for me, Zane was as blind as a bat. He didn't see me hiding on the side of Aphmaus house, and Garroth stared right through me.
As my hand swept for my knife from Dad, I noticed something.
My hand wasn't there.
Nor the rest of my body.
"What!?" I screamed.
Of course Zane heard me, he was literally not even 7 feet away.
I stared into the reflection of Aphmaus window, and saw nothing. Just a white streak of hair, from when I was born. My mother insisted that it was from my father.
Zane stared right at me.
"What's with the clump of hair?"
I panicked extremely. My shoes started to come, along with my jacket, and the rest of my body.
"Awwwwwwwww, fudge." I mumbled.
"Guards!" Zane barked. Nobody moved. The guard on Garroth stared at me in fright. Along with Garroth. The others stared in awe, at the twelve year old who just turned invisible.
"Guards!" Zane shouted once again. Snapped out of their trance, the guards ran to me, climbing Aphmaus house, and failing.
Parkour was never something I was good at, but since everyone's life depended on me, and I seemed to be good under pressure, I jumped from tree to tree, until the unlucky one. There wasn't another tree in jumping distance, and the ground would be risking broken bones, or even dislocation.
Nah.
A fat guard landed on the branch , rocking me forward and back, and causing me to fall to the ground. The guard followed, and I was soon trapped.
"Ugh... no..."
I saw them all in the distance.
As I stared deeply into Malachi's eyes, possibly for the last time, he knew what I thought, what I begged from him.
Leave. Gather everyone, and leave.
Malachi, understanding something that I couldn't, widened his eyes in terror.
"Run!" He shrieked.
I watched them all hide in the tree, and heard Levin's cries.
Then I exploded.
Uhhhh, that's weird. Oh well, guess you have to read the next chapter. Will Loki survive? Will Zane find her? Is Pheonix Drop about to accept a danger into their village? Idk, I havent written it yet
