Loki's POV

After leaving Emmalyn's house, I went to Garroth at his post.
"I want to make this quick. You know everyone in Pheonix Drop. Who has delt with the most grief here?"
"Why would you want to know that? Well, Laurance or Dante have experienced a fair amount of greif."
"Thanks."  Just for fun, I know he's wearing well armor, so I couldn't hurt him much. I run at him with my knifes ready. He quickly turns with a diamond sword ready and blocks me. "Heh. I'm not dawdling on my job." Turning back around, he knocks the knives away from me.
Later, when I found Laurance, who was in the guard tower and not working, I asked him a question.
"Have you experienced pain?"
He gapes at me, and I smirk.
"Are you even kidding me right now!? I have experienced enough pain, too much if anything. I was orphaned , then I got stuck in the Nether and turned into a shadow knight! A shadow knight! When I finally came back, my bestest friend ever died to save me, and I was blind. And then Zane came and ruined Pheonix Drop. To top that, the love of my life is ignoring my feelings for her."
"Huh. Well, thanks." I began to walk away, until he stopped me.
"Now I need to hear your heartbreaking story."
"And how do you know I have one?"
"There's only one reason you would ask me such a question. Now tell me your past."
"Long story short... my brother got my family killed."
"That's not heartbreaking."
"I've only told you what I can until you can be trusted."
He rolls his eyes.
"Where can I find Dante?"
"The guard station, but if your gonna ask the same question, I'm going to tell you, his story is the most depressing, saddening, horrible thing I've ever heard."
"OK. Thanks, Laurance."

I found Dante at the guard station, like Laurance said he would be.
"Hey."
"Hey."
"First, I'm sorry that I slapped your face multiple times when I tried to kill Garroth."
"Heh. You should apologize to Garroth for that situation."
"Yeah."
"You still feel guilty over that? He dosent care. He knows you were just in blind rage."
"Yes, but still. You don't just attempt to kill a man, and then he just forgives you!"
"Well, Garroth is different, he accepts far more things than he should."
"We're getting off topic. Dante, I want to know... do you have pain?"
"...yes. I feel some pain..."
"I wanted to ask, do you know how to get over that? The pain?"
"N-no.i really wish I did. But I don't. I don't understand it. Why we all have to go through some of the worst things ever. Like Laurance was turned into a shadow knight. Or Dale and Molly, who's baby won't wake up."
"Dante? I wanted to ask you about your past."
"Oh no. You don't want to hear my past."
"I do. I'll tell you mine?"
"...Deal."
I smiled. "You go first."
He smiles back, but it quickly fades into an angry face.
"Full detail. I lived in a village far away from here. My brother was the head guard. But he did some horrifying things to get where he was. He... he discovered ge had the ability to wipe memories, and then change them. So when he met the daughter of the Lord, he fell in love. So when he attempted to change her memories of him. But he was caught. Someone told on him. He was... he was then exiled. And executed.
And years later, he came back as a shadow knight, and wiped everyone's memories of me. And then... the worst part was... he left my memories alone."
"Wha who told on him?"
Dante was crying a little bit."his own brother."
My eyes widened. "Y-y-you. You did the right thing Dante. He was bad."
"Thanks Loki."
"Yeah.. heh... some of this, I just found out today... Well, my dad, one day, was arguing with my mom. He was saying that we should leave, because he was dangerous. He would get us all killed. And then, he walked out of the house, and being the eight year old I was, I followed him, where he was taken into a back alley with Zane."
"Thought you could fool me, Enki?"
"Later,he stabbed my dad in the gut... but before then, he had-I thought that he had disowned me, but I realized... he was protecting me. He said that he had two daughters, not three. He denied everything Zane said about me. He said he had two daughters, Celeste and Lily. He was protecting me, for reasons I still don't know. A couple months later, my older brother Xander was asked to be on the Jury of Nine, and being his idiotic selfish self, he declined, and my family was thrown into jail, and killed off one by one. Until it came to me. I was the last Ramirez. EXEPT for Xander. And I vow, that I will kill him, and Zane, for what they have done."
"Ummmmmm. Wow. You-how did you escape?"
"Xander let me out."
"Loki...im so sorry. No child-"
"Dante, yours is much worse."
"You couldn't do anything! Your family was killed in front of your eyes."
"No, and that's the worst part. That they were taken, so we didn't know if they had died, or if they were being tortured."
"Loki... you were so young..."
"Yes, my youth was taken, along with my families lives, but that dosent, matter."
"Yes it does! I'm so so so so sorry loki,"
"Dante! Your family has absolute no memory of you! And you think my situation is bad!? What I went through  happens to millions of people."
"I'm sorry.  I know that you don't want to admit it, but your-"
"Let's drop it. We'll go through pain together."
"Pain ending buddies?"
"Pain ending buddies."

The sun was setting, and I still didn't have a home, or a place to sleep.
"He hehe hehe. Your AlL aLonE! hOw pErfECt."
"What!?"
Nobody was around. Everyone was gone.
Suddenly, a ghostly enderman-like creature stepped out of the shadows.
"What do you want!?" I screeched. Hoping someone would hear me.
"Nobody will hear you. It looks like I'm going to take you easily."
"No!"
"WhY Yes.... YOu, LOKI RaMirEZ, yOU wIlL coMe WITH ME!!"
"No! Why do you want me! I'm not important! I'm just a dumb kid!Anyone! Help!"
"EveRYone that dOSEnt Care can't HEAr yOU."
The creature hissed, and grabbed me.
"YOu WoNT Be AbLe tO stOP Me! tHe MaSTer reQuESTed yOU!"
Just as it started to pull me away, Garroth and Dante jumped out of nowhere and cut off the head.
"NO! THE MASTER WILL BE UPSET!"The thing hissed.(fo drizzle! Told ya I'd put it in the worst spot!)
The creature evaporated.
"Loki, are you alright!?" Garroth shouts.
"He-hes in my head."
"Who!?"
I punched the creature in the face. Or to them, it looked like I punched myself.
"I will blow myself apart, just so you will leave."
"No! THE mAsTer!"
"Get out. I will blow your dimension to crumbs if you don't leave RIGHT NOW!"
"FiNE!" A pitch black spirit type thing leaves my body.
"Loki!" The guys both shout.
"Why does everyone want me?"
"There's one explanation." Dante mumbled loudly.
"Oh no. Not that."
"Yes. It."

Haha, well, Loki is in some shite.
(So I didn't explain this in her Backstory, but when she ran away, she encountered a LOT of misfortunes.
I may make a book soon about lokis trip from O'khasis to Pheonix Drop
