"Carly."
"How do you tell someone that you love them?"
"Oh, Jack.." Carly Carmine adjusted her glasses and looked at her news reports that she had just printed out. She stacked up the papers, while not paying attention to Jack Atlas. "You just say it."
"I love you, Carly."
"WHAT!?" Those words caught her off guard, causing for her to drop all of her papers across the room. "Am I dreaming? Or is this a hallucination?" Carly quickly kneeled down on the floor to pick up her papers. "Dang it, Jack. You distracted me..now I have to pick up all of this."
Jack quickly helped her pick up the scattered papers. He then went behind Carly and grabbed her waist. "You weren't dreaming, Carly." He whispered into her ear, "I really do love you."
Carly blushed and smiled. "I love you too."
