"Lucas, this is Alana ..." Jackson said grabbing my arm. "She's riding home with us."

So there I was... just pulled into a car against my own will sitting next to the guy who obviously doesn't care about first impressions.

"Ummm... Jackson?..." I whispered to the green eyed boy who had just dragged me into a car.

"Yea?" He said looking up from his phone mocking my whisper.

"Umm what are you doing I didn't agree to this!" I said in a whisper shout.

"Giving you a ride home what does it look like?" He said to which he looked back down at his phone.

I rolled my eyes at this as my phone vibrated. I looked down at my phone and saw a text from my mom.
" got stuck at work and your dad is going to an meeting so I'm going to stay at a hotel with him tonight. Your sisters are at your aunts and your brother is at a friends so you can go home or stay with a friend we will be home tomorrow afternoon. Love you!"

"You can stay with me... our parents aren't gonna be home for a week..." Jackson said looking down at my phone.

"No that's fine..." I said "I'll call a frie..."

"Well your my neighbor so why does it matter? You can just go straight home in the morning but Lucas is gonna go somewhere tonight and my other brother is gonna be with Lucas so I'm gonna be bored pllllleassee!!!!" He said begging in a playful way...

What was he trying to do?

"Tell you what I'll hang out with you till later tonight and then we will see what happens after that..." I said rolling my eyes.

"Ok cool!" He said to which he looked at Lucas. "Where you going tonight?"

Lucas looks in the mirror back at Jackson and says shrugging "girlfriends" to this Jackson nods and looks at me as we pull into there driveway.

"K see ya" he says pulling me out the car.

"Why do you do this to me?" I whined.

he shrugs "can't a guy want friends?"

"Yes but your just creepy..." I laughed.

"Well what can I say... your cute..." he says way to overconfident.

I opened my mouth to reply as I heard a door open. I looked to the front door and there was a boy with dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes.

Great another hot guy to distract me...

"Sup Aaron!" Jackson said.

"Nothing." He looked at me and back at Jackson "who's the chick?"

What's up with his family calling me a "chick" damn do they not know how to just introduce there selves?

"This is Alana. She's lives next door and we gave her a ride home from school" Jackson replied.

"Cool. Lucas home?" Aaron asked.

"Nah he at Mia's" Jackson replied.

Do guys not know how to use full sentences?

"Oh wanna hang?" Aaron said.

Guess they don't...

Jackson looks over at me and I nod to say I'm okay with it. He nods back and turns to Aaron.

"Sure. You ok with hanging with a girl too?"Jackson says gesturing toward me.

Aaron nods and heads to the fridge and grabs a coke he looks over at me.

" You like coke?"

I nodded and he brought me one.

"Thanks." I said opening the can.

"No problem.Wanna do something fun?" He said.

"Like what?" I asked.

Jackson grabbed my arm knowing what his cousin was talking about and followed him out to the backyard.

"Dirt bikes!" They said in unison.

"Ok." I said smiling.

They brought out two dirt bikes. One was red with black on the outer edges outlining the bike perfectly. The other was black and gold. The gold being the main color and the black outlining it perfectly once again.

Jackson hops on to the gold bike and Aaron onto the other. Jackson grabs my hand and pulls me on.

"Hey, why you get the girl." Aaron says failing to remember my name.

"For one you can't remember her name and two she's my friend." Jackson says with a smirk. Aaron crossed his arms and smirks back.

To this I laughed. Moments later Jackson turned the bike on and saluted Aaron who still had his arms crossed.

"See ya!" He said driving off.

I hugged his waist tightly. As he drove the bike quickly. I felt like nothing else was real. Nothing else was going on. I felt happiness truly for the first time in a few months.

After my biological dad passed away on July 4th it's been hard for me to be happy. My dad was my best friend. Well...other than Maya and Emily. I never felt the need to keep a secret when it came to my dad. Even thou my parents spilt up when I was four me and my dad were really close. He wanted me to move in with him after I turned 12 but I couldn't do it to my mom. I had broke his heart and now I was 14 in my first year of high school. I never forgave myself for breaking his heart and I don't think I ever will.

Interrupting my thoughts was the sound of the Engine on the dirt bike clicking off. We had been riding for almost an hour. But Aaron had to go home so we headed inside.

"Bye Aaron" I said waving as he was walking out to his car.

"Bye...." he thought for a second and remembered my name thankfully "bye Alana" he finally concluded as he waved and got in his car and drove away. I walked back inside behind Jackson.

"Jackson I really don't think it's a good idea for me to stay here." I said.

He shook his head." Don't worry I ain't gonna do anything you can sleep in the guest room." He said pointing in the direction smiling.

"Fine.." I said rolling my eyes.

To this he laughed "goodnight Alana"

"Goodnight"  I dreaded out.
