Once we made it to Orlando I realized I didn't have anywhere to stay. Luckily, Gianni offered to stay with me. We got went to a hotel and got a room. Don't worry. We didn't sleep in the same bedroom. We got kinda a suite but not really. It was one hotel room with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a small living room, and a kitchen. It was nice. Once we finally got ready for bed. Gianni and I watched something on the tv. We sat there for about an hour watching tv and eating popcorn that we had bought from the Walmart nearby. I forgot what we were watching. But it didn't really matter. I didn't even pay attention. I was secretly crying the whole time. Why do I do this to myself? I broke up with the love of my life and it wasn't even his fault that she kissed him. Maybe I should apologize. Yea. Maybe.

As I was lost in my thoughts I realized the movie was over.

"I'm gonna head to bed." I told Gianni still looking at the tv. I turned to him and he was asleep. I laughed softly so I wouldn't wake him up and put a blanket over him. "Goodnight" and with that I went to bed.

I woke up the next morning with a painful headache.

"Shit." I said grabbing my head. It was Monday morning. I was missing school and I knew I would have to leave on Wednesday to get to Louisiana before the funeral. Now instead of 4 hours away from the funeral-no I don't like that word- Louisiana I'm 8 hours away. "Ugh!"

"What's up with you?" Gianni said walking into my temporary bedroom.

"Nothing I just have a headache and have to leave on Wednesday for Louisiana..." I said.

"Well I can help with the headache. I'll get you medicine and then we will go to Starbucks. Always works when I have a headache..." he said. "But...if you don't mind me asking...why do you have to go to Louisiana?"

"My mom and step dad."I said simply.

"Oh were you in Florida for a visit and have to go home?" Gianni asked.

"Not exactly. I'm going down to say goodbye. Not really a real goodbye though. She Umm..." I bit my lip. "She passed away and my family wants to have the funeral where we used to live."

"Oh my god. Alana I'm so sorry..." he said and embraced me in a hug.

"Thanks." I quickly changed the subject. "Anyway let's get that medicine and head to Starbucks."

"Okay...I have some Ibuprofen in my car." We changed and ran down to his car and got the Ibuprofen. Then headed to Starbucks.

*at Starbucks because I'm basic*

"I want a Mocha frappe ." I said to Gianni and made my way to a table. Gianni came about 5 minutes later with a pink drink for himself and a Mocha for me.

"Your soooo basic" I laughed.

"Says the girl who got a Mocha!" He laughed back.

While we sat there laughing I noticed something or should I say someone from another table. I walked over to the table.

"Emily?!" I exclaimed.

"Alana?!" Her eyes widened.

"What are you doing here?! Do you know how worried sick me and your sister was?!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry. But I could ask you the same question. First of all why are you here with Maya's ex-boyfriend and second where is Jackson?" She questioned me.

"Jackson who?!" Someone said. I looked across from Emily and there was a boy with brown eyes and brown hair across from her.

"Jackson Robinson. Why?" I said.
