Chapter 4

My eyes felt heavy when I woke up , I stayed still in bed for a while pondering my existence before crawling out of bed , my eyes were really red and puffy

a very attractive look.

I thought sarcasticly to myself .

I walked into the living room switching on the telly , not like there was anything on , it was just the noise.

I sat there with my legs crossed for a while , my mind replaying the incident of yesterday evening .

I was so done with everything. 

Everyone .

Dan .

I didn't even know how he knew all that.. no one in London knows any of that .

And crying, wow Teddi that was a smart move wasn't it ? I mentally slapped myself before deciding that a shower may help a little ..

It Didn't .

I found the usual attire to wear and debated going out for find fresh air..and a cigarette obviously.

I walked out of my flat and leant against my door. 

Where to go , who to see ..

It's not like I had any friends here , I mean Dan's the only one I'd actually had a conversation with .

Dan .

I shook him out of my head and headed out into the world , Jesus it was cold .

I lit a cigarette and took a long drag .

Atleast I was shortening my life with this .

God I need to get a grip, stop being such a turd and get on with it .

I didn't do a lot that day , wandered round a bit , bought a couple coffees , judged a few people .

I paced up the stairwell , stopping as I looked towards my door. I leant in to look a little closer . It was open, only slightly ..it was , oh What do you call it ..ajar?

I walked up towards the door, trying not to make the floorboards creak as I did . I stood by the wall and carefully pushed my door so it opened silently.  I crept in and grabbed an umbrella , making my way round my home..it was pretty clean ..for once.. A noise from the kitchen made me stop dead in my tracks.

I raised the umbrella and ran into the kitchen screaming and waving the pin about.

"TEDDI STOP . STOP TEDDI,  ITS ME !!".  I lowered the umbrella and placed it on the dining table staring at him .

"How many times do I have to tell you to stay away from me ! "  The anger was boiling up inside me .

" I know Teddi bu-" He began .

"NO. There's no buts , I told you to leave me alone ..so you take that as a sign to BREAK INTO MY HOME . " I shouted at him .

"Listen Tedd-" He raised his arms up .

"No Dan you listen , I don't know how you knew any of the stuff yesterday but-"

Dan looked at me , a look of slight shame.

"You really don't remember me do you? I guess you didn't really no me... "  Dan sighed , sounding like he was just confirming it for himself .

What's going on!?"  I stepped away from him.

Dan sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. " Teddi .."

"Tell me ". I demanded.

"Tell Me or I call the Police right now "

I stared at Dan until he finally sighed . " Look Teddi , I know you don't remember but..we went to the same Secondary school together ..I know everything that happened to you because ..well everyone knew . The Bullying , The disorder ..the ...well you know . You didn't know me . But I knew you , I always wanted you to know me to , I wanted to help..bu-"

"But you stood there watching like everyone else not giving a monkeys ass , look I moved on ok ,.now just leave . " I said , it all making sense now . "Go " .

I looked up to see Dan shaking his head. ". When I saw you at the bus stop , you looked ..so .. "

Freaky

Emo

"Perfect "

I stared at him , where the Hell was he going with this.

"Just standing there with your headphones in , I remembered you straight away , you haven't changed much..just more .."

I stood up straight, continuing to stare at him .

Well this was new .

"Dan I'm really not into all this soppy shit ok so-" 

"I'll just cut to the Chase then " . 

He walked towards me pushing me against the wall , I stared up into his brown eyes which were looking down at me .

"You don't have to be alone anymore  "
