Chapter 12

Dan looked down at me and laughed . "Girlfriend it is then"

I saw Phil give a sympathetic wave , I smiled weakly and walked towards the vodka .

"Teddi?"

I turned and saw Inori smiling at me , she was wearing a Nirvana Tee, I smiled at her top then thought it must've looked like I was smiling at her boobs so looked up quickly

" Oh hey , I didn't know you were going to be here"

I filled a red plastic cup of Vodka and coke and followed Inori onto a nearby couch .

"Oh yeah, PJ , that guy over there ," She pointed to the guy who'd 'welcomed' us in . " He's my brother so yeah , here I am !" She took a gulp of whatever she had in her cup and turned back to me.

"My brother's party's sometimes get a little ..outta control , be careful ok?" She rubbed my shoulder and went over to PJ who was introducing her to , uh I think it was Phil .

I sighed and glanced around, slut wannabees and guys who just cared about their dicks mainly. Talking of dicks I saw Dan mouth "You ok ?" I nodded and walked over to him .

" Parties not really your thing?" He asked, kissing my cheek.

" There's alcohol I'll survive " I said holding up my cup , Dan laughed and played with my hair.,

"We'll only stay a couple hours I swear " Dan reassured.

"SHOTS!" I turned around and saw a presumably drunk whore lying on a table with her top off .

Oh dear lord help me .

The night continued to get worse with several drinking games ending up in another couple going upstairs for a long period of time .

Dan was off with PJ and his boyfriend Chris organising some YouTube thing so I went outside .

It wasn't cold but you could tell the difference from inside. I lay down on the grass and stared up at the stars , I could hear the beat from.the music, but apart from that, silence.  I heard the door creak open and a figure lay down beside me .

The pulled me in closer and Dan's familiar smell reassured me it wasn't a drunk guy looking for a quickie.

" This is nice" Dan breathed out ,stroking my hair away from my face .

" Mmm" I snuggled my head into the crook of his neck .

" Too many people in there , too many idiots.." I mumbled making Dan chuckle " Too many sex crazed students" I finished .

" Talking about sex , guess who I saw making out and stumbling into a room." Dan said excitedly

I really didn't care that much but I felt the need to humour him .

" Who ?"

Dan smiled smugly at me and looked up at the stars " Phil and Nori, they were properly going at it"

I rolled my eyes , shaking my head . " Sex is overated"

Dan gave me a look sitting up , his face turned to horror .

" You What ?" He sounded terrified , god this was funny .

" Yeah I mean , sex pff, its not that great " I said biting my lip restraining myself from laughing .

" You've only ever had sex with me " Dan said appaled .

"Exactly" .

Dan looked like he was going to cry and I couldn't take it anymore , I burst out laughing , relief filled Dan's face .

" That's not funny Theodora" Dan said sternly .

" It was , very much so Daniel " I said kissing him .

" Hey do you want to go back to mine now ?" Dan asked turning towards me .

" Oh god you're sex crazed aswell aren't  you?" I said trying to sound shocked .

" No I've had enough for the night" Dan said quickly backing away as I tried to hit him . " That's not funny!!" I said still batting at him .

Dan took my hand and guided ne through the house and we left without anyone noticing .

" We should probably get a cab.." Dan suggested , I nodded and Dan stuck his hand out to get one .

We clambered inside the cab and gave the university's name . The cab driver nodded and did something on his phone before pulling out.

" You not Gunna put your seatbelt on ?" I asked , whispering so the Taxi driver didn't hear.

" Nah , its like 5 minutes away ." He whispered back . I nodded

The cab driver kept checking his phone making me nervous , I was too awkward to say anything and I don't think Dan had noticed .

He checked his phone once more , turning a corner . I was looking at Dan before I heard loud repetive beeping . I looked forward seeing headlights come nearer .
