6 - They See You Cry

Hey, sorry I haven't been updating, but it's been school and stress and meetings about safety and shit so it's all been piling up but I thank you all for being so nice and patient with me. Thank you all for  over 1k reads on this book! Enjoy~!

Shiro

You were crying today, staring at a picture of your father. He had been in a war recently and you didn't know where he was or if he was still alive or what, and today was a particularly sad day for this to come up on: his birthday.

Shiro, who you've been dating for 3 months now, had no clue what was going on with you. You'd avoided him all day and had not told him what was going on. You heard the doors open and close again, and you knew he had come for you.

"(Y/n)?" He asked. You turned to him and that's when he saw your state. Puffy, red eyes that were surrounded by tears and dried ones, shaky hands and an upset expression on her mouth.

He quickly walked to you and embraced you in a hug, whispering comforting words into your ear as you cried on his shoulder. He rocked you back and forth, worried and angered. He was worried about you, but also angry that he wasn't there to stop it all day. That's when he noticed the picture and he started piecing the puzzle together.

"It's okay. I know that you are strong and confident, and that your dad will come back and someday he will see you. He loves you and would do anything for your safety. I hope you know that", he said quietly. You nodded and he smiled.

"How about we stay here for a bit", he said. You nodded as he pulled you in for another hug, but this one was more loving.

"It's gonna be okay", he said, kissing your cheek.

Lance

You were looking at the cryopods right now, angered and sad. Why didn't they bring this technology to Earth sooner!? You were angry and also very upset but half of you didn't want to think of this as a big deal and the other thought about how it could have saved your dad.

Your dad died of a heart attack that had just happened randomly in the middle of the day. The day, happened to have been your birthday party.

You and your mother rushed him to the hospital, where he slept then said his final words and slipped from this world to the next.

You pounded your fist angrily on the glass with tears in your eyes. "Why didn't this be on Earth?" You asked yourself.

Suddenly, you were engulfed in a hug. You noticed the two arms covered by a green jacket and knew who it was.

"Why are you crying?" Lance asked. You turned to face him. "I just miss my mom. A lot", you said. He nodded. "Can I tell you something?" He asked. You nodded as well and he sat down with you.

"Look, I know how sad you are, but it's okay. I cry sometimes because I miss my family. You'll see them again. I promise", he said. You nodded and he smiled. "Good, now lets go", he said, grabbing you and pulling you down the hall towards his lion.

Keith

You were crying currently. It was a very moody day for you, and you had remembered the events that had happened to Ulaz, and you had started crying in your room, sobbing loudly into your pillow.

You heard the door open and something was draped around your shoulders. You were engulfed in a hug and your sobbing slowly died down. Keith pulled you into his lap and wiped a tear away, hugging you tighter.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't save him", he mumbled. You started crying again, him rubbing your back and staying silent as your emotions poured out of you.

You soon sat, sniffing with your tears stained and mixed with snot on his shirt. Of course, Keith didn't mind. He only cared that you were okay. He looked at you.

"Please don't cry okay? I miss my mother as much as you miss your father. I know how it feels", he said, and you nodded.

"Don't ever think that your life is bad either. You have me and you always will", he said and kissed your forehead, making you smile.

"Thank you."

Hunk

You woke up with a jolt, having had a nightmare about food. How your mother came to haunt you about leaving the mall. You now need Hunk. You knew he'd make you feel better, so you darted to the kitchen.

Hunk was making something when he noticed your panicked tone and was immediately engulfed in a hug. He hugged you back and let you cry for a bit.

"What's wrong?" He asked. "I-I just had a bad dream", you responded. Hunk wiped away your tears as you looked up at him. He kissed your nose.

"Well, I'm here and I'll protect you from those bad dreams!" Hunk said, waving his bayard threateningly at the wall. You giggled at his action and smiled.

"Thanks Hunk."

Pidge

You were a bit upset today. It was exactly one year ago that Altea was destroyed. You were messing with Pidge's computer that she just taught you to use when the sliding doors of the room opened. You looked into Pidge's eyes and burst into tears.

Pidge ran over to you and hugged you tightly. "It's okay. Allura told me. I know how you feel and that's alright. Just know that you have people who care here. I care so much about you", Pidge whispered. You nodded and her words and hugged her back tightly.

"B-but I-"

"No buts. Just....tell me about what it was like."

"Well, the grass was green and everyone was always kind and welcoming..", you said. Pidge's talking technique seemed to work.

After you were done talking you were kissed by Pidge. "Thank you", you said. She nodded and smiled. "Anytime."

Allura

You were in the simulator today. Coran was testing you for your fears. You were nervous for this test, which would release your deepest fears.

You closed your eyes and descended into the simulator, opening your eyes into darkness. You saw Altea being destroyed, things being blown up into oblivion. The scene changed and Lotor held a sword at Allura. You screamed and yanked off the simulator headband.

You felt arms wrap around you and you cried into Allura's shoulder. "You're alright. Coran stopped the simulator", she reassured you. You wiped a couple tears away from your eyes and nodded at her words.

She kissed your forehead and smiled. "You'll be okay. I'm sure of it."

Lotor

You were waiting in your room for Lotor to return from his duties. He walked in and was clearly angry at something as he sat next to you. You stood in front of him and tipped his chin up.

"What's the matter?" You asked. He sighed. "I hate scavengers. They are constantly getting in the way of my rule. They are so picky and make such a mess of things", he ranted. You grew angry at his comment.

"So you just stereotype all of them?" You asked angrily. Lotor looked up at you. "I didn't mean you."

"Well I guess I just make a mess of things and get in the way now don't I?" You yelled, backing away from him. You were about to take your leave when Lotor hugged you from behind.

"Please don't go. I've had a hard enough day to see you leave this room", he said. You started to cry and he hugged you tightly.

"I am sorry for my choice of words. I didn't not mean to make you upset princess", he said, rubbing your back. You nodded as he kissed your jawline.

"I'm so sorry."
