Dans Le Noir

"How did this happen again?" you asked your best friend as she smiled.

"I'm going to prove to you that someone does like you for you, and that looks don't matter on this date," your best friend told you as she booped your nose.

"Someone like me for me? Looks don't matter?" you asked as you checked yourself one last time at your compact mirror.

"You will NOT need that," your best friend told you as she snagged your mirror and put it back in your purse.

"What makes this date special is that we're dining at a Dans Le Noir restaurant!" she explained.

"In English for the people who don't speak French like you do," you retorted.

"It means dark dining, where you are literally on a blind date. You are in complete darkness with your date, so whoever it is can't judge you by your looks, but by your personality and how the conversation goes. But you're already cute, so that's a bonus for them when they see you later on. Plus who wouldn't want to date you?" your best friend explained with a cheeky grin.

"Complete darkness, huh?" you asked thinking about how this will go. Usually, you weren't the kind to date, mainly because you devoted your time to studying, and thought you were average looking, when really you charmed a couple of boys with your natural beauty every now and then. You wore your favorite outfit that accented your features; helping you boost your confidence on this date.

"Come on! We better hurry inside!" your best friend said beyond excited as she pulled you inside.

"Could you at least give me a hint of who this person is?" you asked.

"Both of our dates got accepted to U.A High School," she said to you as you smiled.

Both you and your best friend are about to attend U.A High School since you both passed the entrance exam with your quirks. Her quirk is Telekinesis, but she could only control it for 15 minutes, if she pushed farther than that she would soon pass out. As for you, your quirk was Water Manipulation, which your limit was the bigger the water you manipulate, the more you would be close to getting tired.

"How many for tonight ladies?" the host asked.

"Four, under the name (y/n)" your best friend stated.

"Ah, right on time! The other two are waiting for you. Just follow Shiki, she will be your waitress for tonight," the host pointed out as the waitress wore black sunglasses.

"Welcome ladies, if you don't mind grabbing onto my shoulder, and your friend grab your shoulder so I can lead you to your table," Shiki explained.

Both you and your best friend held on as you entered a dark room where you could hardly see anything at all.

"Here you are, enjoy!" Shiki said as she sat both of us down.

"You really can't see anything here," I said trying to look for a tiny hint of light.

"I know, you can almost trip if you're not careful enough," you heard a voice say, which sounded like a guy.

"You almost tripped just because you were freaking out from how dark it was, you nerd," another voice said, but sounded more masculine.

"Hey! Not in front of our dates!" the other voice said.

You and your best friend couldn't help but laugh at your dates and their comments.
