"In any war, there are calms between storms." Optimus said. "There will be days when we lose faith. Days when our allies turn against us. But the day will never come... that we forsake this planet... and its people."

-----------------

Jamie stood looking in the mirror. William and her had gotten into a huge fight and he had just walked out. She couldn't even think of what was going on. Her whole life had crashed around her and she sold the farm. She lived with her friend Cade and his daughter Tessa. She stood looking in the mirror at herself. Tessa knocked on her bathroom door.

"Are you okay?" Tessa asked.

Jamie was not okay. She had been living with Cade and Tessa for about two and a half months. And she was three months pregnant. She had went to the hospital two days ago and they had just called her. She took a breath and smiled at Tessa.

"Hey doll. How was your trip?" She asked.

Tessa shrugged. "Good, I guess. Have you seen dad?"

"No. I think he went out with whoever that guy is. I still don't remember his name."

"Lucas." She smiled.

Jamie nodded and headed out of the room before both of them stopped. The deep rumble of an engine made both of them bolt outside.

"You bought a truck?!" Tessa asked.

"You guys are idiots." Jamie said, but she was smiling. "But I like it. Makes me feel better."

"Good!" Cade said and hugged her. "How is it that you came here from fighting cons?"

"Cause the whole alien race want's me and so I left. Long story." She shrugged. "Come on. Let's get this bad boy checked out!"

So she watched as they pulled the truck away.

--------

Jamie walked into the barn with Tessa. Cade motioned to the truck and started freaking out.

"Guys, watch this." He told them. "Just watch."

And what he did when he powered the truck on made Jamie freeze.

"Calling--- calling all Autobots." It croaked.

She walked forwards and her breath caught.

"Oh my god..." She whispered.

"Calling all autobots." The message kept speaking. "We are under targeted attack. Cease all contact with humans, and the Energon. It is a danger."

Jamie covered her mouth and backed away. Tessa and Cade looked at her.

"What- what's an Energon?" Tessa asked.

She shook her head before turning around and bolting out of the barn. She couldn't even breath as she leaned back against the wall of the barn. She looked at the sky and slowly calmed.

"I'm..." She swallowed. "I'm a danger?"

She sat there for a few hours until walking in and looking at Cade.

"Go get something to eat." She told him.

He nodded. He knew she didn't want him to be there when she was, so he left. Jamie looked at the truck and walked forward, her eyes moving over it.

"You're a bot." She whispered. "I'm so sorry I left you. I shouldn't have left you..."

She couldn't stand it anymore and left the barn. The next day, Tessa screamed from the living room.

"Dad! There's a missile in the living room!"

Tessa and Jamie got into the barn and both froze. The transformer in front of them was not happy. Jamie grabbed her hoodie and yanked it on, covering her arms and face. She couldn't let this thing see her if she was a danger. But the voice made her heart nearly stop. She didn't know what the Hell he was saying, but she knew the voice.

"Lucas, don't move." She ordered, holding his arms by his side. "Cade, Tessa, back away."

"Jam-"

"Get away from him." She growled, her eyes glowing.

"What? What are you talking about?" Cade asked.

"Cause he might kill me idiot." She snapped. "I'm the Energon."

Before any of them could move, she shoved her arm out and blasted a charging energy right into the bot's spark. She cried out as she felt the energy leave her. Cade caught her as she dropped to the ground, a small stream of blood coming from her nose. She groaned as Cade held her up.

"You mean we've been living with an Energon for the past two and a half months?!" Tessa yelled.

"Tessa, help me with her." Cade ordered his daughter.

"No." Jamie shoved him back, landing on her knees.

She hissed in pain as she closed her eyes, trying to block out the hatred coming from the Prime.

"Lucas, my keys are in my hoodie pocket." She struggled to say. "Go get my car."

"What? Why?!" Cade asked.

She slowly got up, holding her stomach and her arm. She looked him dead in the eye.

"I told you what the Energon was when I moved in, right? What it could do?"

"Wait.." He pointed to the bot. "That's Optimus Prime?!"

Lucas popped his head back in the barn.

"Your car is ready."

She nodded and pulled off the hoodie, her sweater coming off to show her tank top and arms.

"Y'all can keep it. The money you need is in my room, closet. I gotta get out of here."

"No!" Tessa blocked her path. "Jamie, you can't! They'll kill you!"

"He'll kill me!" She nearly slapped the girl. "You have no idea how hard it is just to keep from looking at him. Tessa, move."

"No." She crossed her arms.

Jamie groaned as she felt the heightened anger coming from the bot as it heard her name. She slid past Tessa and got to her car. She opened the door and sighed. She looked at Cade as he stood at the front of her car.

"If you find Bee, tell him to contact me." She told him. "Bee knows exactly what happened after Prime sent that message."

She then got into the car, reversed and floored it out of there.

-------

Jamie was driving through the desert when she saw that nice looking car that was Bumblebee. She smiled and drove after him. He slowed to drive next to her and beeped.

'Good to see you, old friend.'

"Good to see you too." She told him. "Uhm.... does Prime, is he okay with you bringing me to them?"

'Not exactly...'
