Part 5

Furious couldn't even begin to explain how Jamie Monroe felt at that moment. Bobby and William saw her hand twitch and both went forwards. Bobby grabbed her gun while William spun her around to face him and not her family. It was just in time because her hand had gone to the now empty holster on her thigh.

"Jamie, look at me." William told her.

She met his eyes as her own blazed. He shook his head.

"If you do that you won't forgive yourself."

"I don't care." She growled. "Owen is my best friend, Will. I was with him before I was with you guys. He saved my life!"

"Jamie, just walk away."

"No." She told him.

"Don't make me pull rank, soldier."

She sent him a stone cold glare.

"It won't matter."

He opened his mouth just as her phone rang. She answered it.

"Hello?" She looked away from him. "Miss Shaw?... No, no I haven't gone to see him yet.... Of course ma'am.. right away. Thank you... have a nice day Madam."

She hung up and held her hand out to Bobby.

"Bobby, give it."

"Will?" He asked.

William locked eyes with Jamie and she made sure to hide her feelings.

"Give it to her."

He did and she spun around, her gun aimed at the hood of a car. She lowered the gun two inches and fire, shooting out a tire. Mia gasped as she clicked the safety on and walked down the drive. Bobby looked at Will before jogging after her. William sighed before heading after them. Dom spoke.

"Hey."

William turned to look at him.

"What does she mean he saved her life?"

"Ask her."

With that he walked away from them.

-Three Months Later-

Jamie was sitting on her bed at home while she cleaned her gun. The doorbell rang so she got up and headed to answer it. She always had a gun on the shelf next to the door and a Bowie knife in a slot on the wall. She opened the door to see Mia standing there with a baby boy. She looked as if someone had tried to blow her up. Brian and Dom stood behind her.

"Jamie, help us." She breathed.

"Come in." She said.

They did as she told them and she motioned to the kitchen.

"Alright." She told them as they sat down. "Explain everything right now."

So Dom and Brian explained what had happened to the house while Mia held the young child in her arms. Jamie began to have that sinking feeling once more but her phone rang before she could do anything.

"Hello?"

It was William. "Autobots."

"I'll be at the Nest in three hours."

She hung up and looked at her family.

"Look, I love you guys. You are my family forever. Ride or die always. But I need to go help someone with something and that was an order. I have to go. I love you, but I can't get into this."

"That's alright." Brian said. "Be careful."

"Always. Take care of them."

The men nodded and she motioned to her house.
