+In Texas+
Jamie got out of the camaro and walked up the steps, not ready to face what lay inside. She knocked on the door and a few seconds later it opened. Delta was jumping up and down, but Jamie was not paying attention to her. She had never told anyone from her entire life why she left Texas. She just said it was family problems. And it was. The man holding the door open was her ex-boyfriend. His new wife was next to him and she lowered her gaze for a moment.
"Uhm.... can I..." She left the words unsaid.
The man nodded and the woman called up the stairs.
"Amanda! Door!"
The girl that stopped at the top of the steps was only seven years old. She saw Jamie and her eyes instantly filled.
"Mommy?" She asked.
"Hi Amanda." Jamie said, trying not to cry.
Amanda flew down the steps and flung her arms around Jamie. Jamie knelt down and hugged her tightly. Her ex's wife gasped.
"Your arms!"
She pulled away from Amanda and nodded slowly.
"I can explain." She said. "But if you don't want me to, fine. I just came to tell you I was home and that if you wanted to you could send Delta back with me. I won't push anything."
Her ex, Garett, was staring at the lines. She sighed and looked at Delta.
"In the car."
The dog barked and jogged to Bee's open door. William stepped out of the cab of Ironhide.
"Jamie?"
"I'll explain when we get to the ranch." She turned to the adults in front of her. "Call if you need anything, or want to know something."
She pulled Amanda away from her body and she girl didn't fight to stay with her. She knew it would be in vein. It always was. Jamie sent her a tight smile before pulling the sleeves of her hoodie back down and walking to Bee. She opened the driver's side door and got in, closing it and driving off without a word or a fight. She pulled into her ranch two miles down the dirt road and cut Bee's engine. Delta was happy to see her master, but knew that Jamie was not happy to have been taken from Amanda again. Jamie unlocked the door of her house and motioned the dog inside. She turned to the bots.
"You can hang out in the barn and garage, just leave the horse's alone, don't mess with the garden and please don't mess up the back lot behind the oak trees. Just forget about them, don't pass them. That.... I'll tell you why later. I'm going to change and take a shower."
The bots drove off while Bobby and William walked into the two story ranch house after Jamie. She pulled off her hoodie and tossed it into a bin before she kicked off her converse and took off her shirt. William frowned.
"What are you doing?" He asked her.
Jamie looked at him. "You've seen me in my bathing suit. Underwear ain't no different."
She tossed her shirt into the bin before opening a hallway closet. She pulled down a blue towel and motioned to the house.
"Upstairs bath, some guest rooms, and I'll be in the bathroom right over there. Don't break anything. Feel free to adventure around the lot."
She left them standing in the living room doorway and closed the bathroom door behind her.

After the shower, Jamie walked into the kitchen to grab herself a drink. She then walked out to the yard. She saw the bots and the humans a few yards away but didn't even move towards them. Instead she whistled and a black horse trotted in from the field. She ran her hand through his mane as he neighed and licked her blue and black arms. She nodded.
"I know. Not the same, huh?" She asked him. "Let's go for a ride bud."
He neighed and she grabbed his mane before jumping up and settling on his back. She rubbed his neck and they trotted off towards the oaks. William wanted to follow her but didn't as he and the Bots watched her ride away.
------------
Jamie didn't come back to the team until late that night. She jumped off the horse and it walked away while she headed over to where the bots and the men stood around a bonfire. She sat down on the hood of Bumblebee while she watched the flames. Nobody spoke until she broke the silence.
"He said that everything I knew would soon end." She told them.
Everyone looked at her. William frowned.
"What?" He asked.
"Megatron told me that everything I love, everything I know will end soon enough." She looked at Prime. "What is he talking about?"
"Unknown." He answered. "But let us hope that he was not telling you the truth, Jamie."
She nodded and leaned back on the hood of the car, her eyes on the night sky. She took a breath and closed her eyes, falling asleep on the warm hood of the camaro. Optimus looked at her before looking at the sky. He could feel a battle stirring, but for now... for now they were safe. The energon was safe. Jamie Lee Monroe was safe here on Earth.

It had been a few months since the bots, William and Bobby moved in with Jamie in the ranch house out on her Texas ranch. Every day at three o'clock she would ride her horse past the line of trees and they wouldn't see her until late that night. None of them knew what she did there, but she came back each night with tired eyes, a sore body, and her horse nearly collapsing with fatigue. This happened every day until she walked down the steps at three and tapped William on the arm.
He turned to look at her, as did the bots who were not in car form. She motioned for them to follow as she headed to the line of trees. What they saw when they passed the line shocked each and every one of them.
