Chapter 25- Thank You

~ Cynthia's POV ~

We pulled up outside my house, they all looked at me with sad eyes. If I wasn't so humiliated I would cry.

"Bye guys." I smiled and waved.

"Bye!"

"Bye Cindy!"

"Bye Chica!"

"Bye-bye"

Andy hadn't talked... I smiled and got out the bus, stumbling as I did so.

"You guys go, I will catch up." I heard Andy mumble.

I leant against the wall, why was I finding it so hard to walk.

"Let me help you babe." I felt Andy sweep me up and start walking up the stairs to my apartment, to my protests. He opened the door and put me down on the sofa making his way into the kitchen.

"Andrew." I tried to sound serious, but he wasn't going to get the hint. He returned with some Heinz soup and passed it to me in a cup. My favourite I smiled gratefully at him then drank it hastily, I was so hungry.

~Andy's POV ~

I gave her food and sat with her, it was getting late. I got up and went to the bathroom and started running a bath, maybe she would feel better then, besides she hadn't had a bath in a while, not being rude but she looked uncomfortable, I already know she has seriously good personal hygiene, she must really be sad to let that go.

I walked back and she just stared at me, with big glassy eyes, it hurt me so much to see her so sad. I looked down at my hands, shuffling my feet awkwardly.

"Uh, I ran a bath, for you." I nodded at her. She tried pushing herself up but failed miserably. I sighed, guess I was going to have to help her, as much as she didn't want me to.

"Come on sweetie" I smiled and lead her through to the bathroom, helping her get undressed and get in the bath, I tensed at how thin she was. She was thin before, but now her collar bones stuck out and her ribs were more prominent on her back and front than before. I ran a bath and she stared at me, neither of us said anything, I could tell she was furious at herself.
She started to return to her normal self, even giggling and pulling funny faces when I put shampoo in her hair. I smiled, she was really cute. She managed to get herself into pyjamas and clamber into bed, with my help.

"I think I'm going to stay the night... I don't want to leave you." I looked at her from the couch, I didn't want to intrude or anything.

"Andy?" She mumbled.

"Mhmm?"

She patted the bed beside her, "Please, I don't want to sleep alone." I nodded, got up and shuffled in next to her wrapping my arms around her and pulling her in close.

"Night beautiful, it'll be okay." I smiled reassuringly and kissed her head.

"G'night Andy, thank you." She replied, already half asleep.
