The note I gave today was pretty short.
"How's Sehun?" I ask again.
I hate him.
"He's... okay. We've talked to the police about it but Sehun can't seem to remember who the guy is or what he looks like... All he remembers was that the guy had a deep voice"
You look at me and I gulp down my nervousness.

JUST WHEN MY PLAN WAS WOR-
"He told me to be careful at school. You should be careful too Chanyeol"
Again, why are you so nice?

Your phone rings.
Your face lights up once you see who it is.
I hate it.
Why don't you look that happy when you see me?
Why is your smile always forced when you talk to people at school?
"Wait, I gotta take this!" You say excusing yourself.
But your voice fades in the background as I watch you talk to him.
Why does your smile seem so genuine and real and beautiful when you talk to him?
I see you end the call.
"Hey... Chanyeol!"
I just stare at you.
"Chanyeol? You oka-"
"Why is your smile so beautiful when you talk to him?"
The words slip out of my mouth before I could stop them.
Your look of confusion quickly turns into something else.
At that moment, I think we both knew that I had feelings for you.
"I have to go Chanyeol..."
Then, I watch you leave.
And for some reason, my heart hurts.
It hurts more than before.
